I stayed at the Kingston on a business trip for two weeks in mid-March 2015, so I was able to form an opinion about the hotel that was more detailed than my usual one or two night stay. The cost of the hotel is reasonable given its central location--approximately 60 USD a night. This hotel advertises itself as a 3... More

I had a relaxing 3-day stay at Kingston. The hotel people are all accommodating from the receptionist to housekeeping. I was even told to take care of my belongings by the hotel guard when I was about to go out shopping. Speaking of shopping, Ben Thahn Market (the main bargain shopping area in HCMC) is just a 5-minute walk. The... More

We had stayed at the Kingston Hotel on our last visit to Ho Chi Minh and were so impressed with it's service, rooms and location we decided to stay there again, however in 3 years the hotel has slipped in it's service level and the rooms seem to be little tired with a very hard bed and dating decor. We... More

Enjoyed this hotel during recent VN visit. Very clean, great staff, excellent breakfasts. Beds a bit hard but all else first class. Big fan of VN food and this was excellent. Great location near market, shopping, etc..

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Walked into the spa and immediately they were trying to get me to add more and more onto the facial package. Should have taken this as a warning. After the mediocre facial, the scantily dressed woman stood in front of the door and demanded I give her a big tip... More

PROS: The hotel is in a central location in HCMC, around the Ben Thanh Market and surrounded by great local food. Received great hospitality from the front desk upon check-in. They have readily available information on local tours (I'd recommend the 1/2 day Cu Chi Tunnels tour over the 1 day Mekong Delta tour) and are helpful with answering your... More

Stayed with spouse and 2 friends from 7-9 Jan. 2015. We booked via online together with air tickets so we've got much cheaper price. The best part of this hotel was the location : 1. From Airport, it tooks around 20-30 minutes (depend on traffics). The taxi fare using meter was quite resonable. 2. Near to Ben Thant Market which... More

Hotel located near to Benh Thanh Market. Halal restaurant also nearby to this hotel. Room is spacious. Old building and can be rate as moderate and worth for price. Room service still can be improved in future. Breakfast is so so only. Prefer to eat outside the hotel.

Stayed here one night. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Hotel staff was helpful with good english. Location is central. Two mimute walk from the market and plenty of places to it. I.D cafe which is just nearby is a great place for smoothies. Breakfast is good but average. I would come back to this hotel
