Fantastic hotel experience, beautiful building, with tasteful art and furniture. Comfortable bed, excellent staff, and a lovely restaurant/breakfast service. The perfect sanctuary after a busy two-week adventure through Vietnam. Villa Song's biggest strength (peaceful and secluded) is also a slight drawback, in terms of having to commute to Saigon City via taxi or shuttle bus (as the water shuttle is... More

This was the most luxurious, tranquil hotel that I have probably ever stayed in!! We arrived here after 12 days cycling holiday and I just needed to be pampered for a few days and sleep and boy does this hotel provide that.. The hotel is small with very high standard setting for meals and the breakfast is all day!! Regardless... More

WOW ... what a place. Thought i would get out of the main areas of HCM for a change and explore elsewhere. HCM city has continued to change at a frantic pace for the past 9 years i have been visiting (whether it be good bad or indifferent is for ones own opinion) but District 1 was becoming all too... This hotel is just beautiful. But just a word of warning. There is no lift so if you have a room on the 3rd floor and are less than very active you might want to ask for one on a lower level. Also we were in room 106 which is just gorgeous but has no shower! Just a bath with... More

Dear Denise S, Thank you for staying with us and for your kind review. Villa Song has 23 absolutely unique rooms, no two rooms are alike and some of the rooms can be quirky (but nice!), in both layout and design. Of the 23 rooms, 22 have shower facilities (with a 'rain shower') and some do have an additional bathtub... More

Coming to the last leg of a Laotian-Vietnamese trip we came to this small hotel, located on the river bank and found a charming atmosphere, a friendly staff and the pleasure of being offered useful services ( eg boat trip, very late check out and room switch). Rooms not large but well equipped, lovely pool, gymand garden but, again, smiling... More

An about 20 room boutique hotel, 10 min from the centre of Saigon on the river shores. Amazing and kind staff, many restaurants in the area, superb breakfast and great drinks. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend. had a room with a great balcony ovelooking the river. Best for couples and not so much for kids.

I thought the hotel itself was lovely and the food was very good. My massage was also wonderful. The reason I'm not giving this hotel a 5 star rating is because, through no fault of its own, there were noise issues when I was there which negatively affected my stay. The restaurant/bar next door started playing loud hip-hop music at... More

I can't say enough good things about this small luxury hotel. I wanted a short break at a boutique hotel and Villa Song Saigon surpassed my expectations. From the moment I arrived where I was upgraded to the Imperial Suite (with two private terraces, one overlooking the Saigon River and the other, a beautiful pool) to the spa (fabulous hot... More

Our favorite day in Vietnam! We treated ourselves to one night at Villa Song (which is very expensive compared to the many, many other great hotels in the $20-$100 USD range in Saigon). It is a bit outside of the main part of the city, and on the river, essentially functioning as a glorious retreat. We were randomly upgraded, as... More

Villa Song is a resort that is set in a quiet part of Ho Chi Min City. Architecture is french colonial. Every room has it's own unique style. The resort is encompassed by the saigon river. The river captures the local way of life of the vietamese community, in this peaceful region. Whist dining at the riverside at any time... More
