Great location hostel, friendly staff, rooms although not new, are very clean, location is awesome. Walking distance to buses and local backpacking area with lots of restaurants on the backstreet. Shops, etc. they can also help you to get to Cu Chi for 100,000 Dong (approx 5.00 dollars).

Quite possibly the cutest family run hostel. Attentive, quick, courteous, smart, a/c, great rotating breakfast, great location, good coffee and tea. Really enjoyed my time here. Thanks for a great time in Ho Chi Minh city. Thanks so much guys :)

This was my first time in Vietnam, and with the help of the staff at Long Hostel, we were able to have a fantastic time in Saigon. Cam the owner speaks very good English, and she booked tours for us at great rates and recommended the best places to eat and shop and also told us what to expect to... More

We stayed at Long hostel for 5 nights. For the first 2 nights we stayed in a twin double room, which was very nice. It had two double beds, hot shower and even had a balcony. We then moved to a basic double room for the remainder 3 nights, we didn't like this room as much as it didn't have... More

Wonderful experience. Stayed here the first few days of my first solo trip. Arrived late at night, so I slept in and missed breakfast the first morning. Hosts insisted that I eat before I ventured out and prepared some fresh noodle soup for me with bread and a banana. It was absolutely delicious, full of fresh ingredients and home-cooked goodness.... The family are unbelievably helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and very homely. Located just a short walk from the heart of Saigon nightlife and restaurants. Much better value than similar prices hostels, added bonus' include a free breakfast, book swap, cheap water, great prices on tours. A must stay!

I can see why this hostel has positive reviews and was Trip Advisors Travelers Choice for 2013 and 2012. Like another traveler, I arrived early...at 8:30 am and was invited to have breakfast even though checkin wasn't til 13:00. I enjoyed a very delicious homemade banana pancake and tea. Free of charge. It's 10:46 am and I'm in my room... More

The rooms were pretty basic, and the sheets kept falling off (we stayed in a double bed private), but were clean, and the AC and wifi worked well. The staff were super super friendly and the location is quite good, though most of the backpackers are on the same narrow alley. The market at the end of the street is... More

The staff at the reception are very friendly and you get a homely feel here as it is a family owned hostel. We came early in the morning without booking, and they offered us breakfast at no extra charge which was lovely. They provide many trips there as well and we booked Mekong Delta through them, however they are not... More
