Best room I've had in Vietnam after 3 weeks of travel. Really spacious, wonderful cityview, clean and comfortable. Loved it! Staff was friendly although very shy. Computer is available for use. I didn't had any problems with the alley it's situated but I can imagine you can feel unsafe there. Breakfast was like everywhere in Vietnam: toast with jam and... More

This is a lovely clean friendly little place. The location is perfect for buses, access plenty of restaurants and bars. The little alley it's on turns into a lively market every morning. We loved our stay here and its great value for money.

Don't be put off when you arrive an see the hotel is down an alley. The hotel is in a great location - really central. The staff at the hotel are really helpful. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The alley turns into a local market in the mornings and is amazing to see when sitting eating... More

Stayed two nights in a twin room on the first floor. Good size room without window (so much quieter), comfortable bed especialy for Viet Nam. Situated in a small alley that reveales it self in the morning by being a market! Seafood right outside in front you while you eat your breakfast, included by the way. Wanted to come back... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Cat Huy Hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the room was nice and cool upon our return, which was a much needed respite from the heat and humidity. There were a few bugs in the dresser by the bathroom but it wasn't unexpected in SE Asia! Admittedly, we always got turned around trying... More

I arrived in Ho Chi Minh city and was greeted at the airport by a shuttle I had order through Cat Huy. Swiftly taken from the airport to the hotel and was pleasantly greeted by staff. Excellent location, quiet at night and almost anything you could need is 2 blocks away. Staff are accommodating and professional. Rooms affordable and comfortable.... More

This was a restful, modern option for a hotel in HCMC. It's set down a narrow alley where a local market takes place during the first part of the day. You can sit having your breakfast, as you watch people buy their veggies and seafood. The main staff guy could not be more pleasant or helpful. The rooms were pretty... More

Our room was beautiful. It even had an enclosed shower! And the water pressure was good, and we never ran out of hot water! The location was convenient for tourists, though the alley it is on turns into a hectic and tight market during the day. Compared to the other places we stayed at in the same price range in... More

This was our first experience of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh so keep this in mind when reading this. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for $15 - we were delayed at the visa by two hour que and were exhausted and so relieved that the taxi was still waiting. The alley way setting meant we would have struggled... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and would recommend this hotel. The location down the alley is slightly off putting in the dark so solo travellers may want to stay in alternate accommodation. As a couple it was fine and is a good retreat from the noise of the backpacker bars on Bui Vien St whilst still being close to... More
