We stayed in the hotel during our trip to Ho Chi Minh City. The purpose of a hotel for us during such a stay is to have a good bed and a proper bathroom. For the rest we use our time to roam such a city. The hotel is very hard to find, but we arranged a pickup at the airport.... More

Got in late at night, so pretty much grabbed the first place in this quiet alley...15 $ single, 18 $ double, so probably not the best deal in this neighborhood known for cheap hostels and guesthouses...room was small but clean enough (just don't look under the bed!), bathroom ok too...however the room could have been much better and more spacious... Wish I had read reviews from this site b4 I booked. I paid for the same price at a place that was 15 USD per night. But I was stuck there 1 night because I prepaid online. I had the impression that it was a 2.5 star hotel. There are many many better options in this area which I learned... More

Clean budget hotel in district 1. The hotel is run by a lovely family, our room was clean and spacious with a small balcony. In a great location close to transport, shops and tourist sites. It is in an alley making very quiet with very little road noise.

This hotel was extremely dirty, and the woman who runs it an absolute joke. I got one clean towel in 8 days which l had to ask for and the room was never cleaned or made up in all my stay there. I brought a girlfriend to the hotel and she was refused entry on the grounds that l had... More

Stayed in other hotels and guesthouses in hcm and unfortunately thien hong was probably the worst. We were desperate as it was a Friday night and settled for thien hong. Initially hard to locate, but once found, realised that it was within a centralised location around the backpackers district. The owners were nice but understanding their English was rather difficult.... More

I stayed here on my own in a single room and felt very safe and comfortable. The family that own it are really friendly. I was out until 2 in the morning and they woke up to let me in with no problem. Room was really clean and cheap price compared to other hostels I've stayed in in saigon. I... More

We spent 3 days vacation in this hotel. Overall I can say it is a pleasant stay and worth for money. We took two rooms (1 family room for 4 persons and 1 double room for 2 persons). The rooms were bit small but clean enough. The shoes have to be taken off at the entrance. I advise to take deluxe... More

Run by a really friendly couple, this hotel is in the middle of the backpackers district but tucked away so its not noisy (but hard to find if you are not picked up or directed). Room was a little small but clean (they make you take your shoes off at the entrance to the hotel) and served its purpose..we didn't... More

The couple who own this guest house are beautiful. They had nothing but our best interests at heart, were extremely friendly and just a pleasure to be around. They were very good at keeping us wary about our safety and the safety of our possessions which was just what we needed. Would definitely stay here again if back in HCMC.
