This hotel was extremely dirty, and the woman who runs it an absolute joke. I got one clean towel in 8 days which l had to ask for and the room was never cleaned or made up in all my stay there. I brought a girlfriend to the hotel and she was refused entry on the grounds that l had... More

Stayed in other hotels and guesthouses in hcm and unfortunately thien hong was probably the worst. We were desperate as it was a Friday night and settled for thien hong. Initially hard to locate, but once found, realised that it was within a centralised location around the backpackers district. The owners were nice but understanding their English was rather difficult.... More

I stayed here on my own in a single room and felt very safe and comfortable. The family that own it are really friendly. I was out until 2 in the morning and they woke up to let me in with no problem. Room was really clean and cheap price compared to other hostels I've stayed in in saigon. I... More

We spent 3 days vacation in this hotel. Overall I can say it is a pleasant stay and worth for money. We took two rooms (1 family room for 4 persons and 1 double room for 2 persons). The rooms were bit small but clean enough. The shoes have to be taken off at the entrance. I advise to take deluxe... More

Run by a really friendly couple, this hotel is in the middle of the backpackers district but tucked away so its not noisy (but hard to find if you are not picked up or directed). Room was a little small but clean (they make you take your shoes off at the entrance to the hotel) and served its purpose..we didn't... More

The couple who own this guest house are beautiful. They had nothing but our best interests at heart, were extremely friendly and just a pleasure to be around. They were very good at keeping us wary about our safety and the safety of our possessions which was just what we needed. Would definitely stay here again if back in HCMC.

After alot of research, i picked thien hong for my stay, and i was not dissapointed.although it was a bit tricky at first to find, i loved being in the heart of vietnamese daily life. The owners were absolutely lovely. I also booked trips at a good price. I had a trip booked one morning, and the lady said i... More

The hotel is in the centre of Ho Chi Minh's famous backpacker area and quite small. We stayed there for three nights after prolonging our stay from one night. The owners of the hotel are friendly and helpful although their English is limited. After 10pm they lock the front door and you have to ring a bell to get the... More

I arrived late, about 9pm from the bus and ended up at Thien Hong, which was very clean and the owners were very sweet and helpful. The next day she gave me a map and also offered me good prices for transport and tour tickets (sometimes better than in the main street) which gave me good negotiation ability and a... More

This is clean hotel. They actually ask visitors to leave their shoes outside. The gate is closed between 10 pm and 7 am. There is no elevator. Rooms are clean and nice looking. Bathroom is the type that floor is always wet after shower. (Don't forget your slippers.) The location is quiet because this is not close to main roads.... More
