Very good location. Close to markets and only a short taxi ride from city sites. Nice clean room, good variety at breakfast with a mixture of local food choices and fruit and western options. and very prompt staff. Good quality for the price. About a half hour taxi ride from the airport.

Tan Hia Long 3 Hotel, is definitely a budget hotel, but is reasonably priced and in a very good location. It is in walking distance to the War Museum, Unification Palace, and Ben Thanh markets. If you enjoy exploring on foot, this hotel is a good place to base yourself. The rooms were adequate, although on the lower floors they... More

Conveniently positioned near Ben Thanh market 2 minutes by Taxi or a short 10 min walk. Service was good, reasonable price and clean rooms, breakfast is included. I would recommend this hotel for a low to medium budget traveler.

I stayed there for five nights. It is as central as you could wish for. This is not luxurious, but it is a really nice hotel, with friendly staff. It is clean, and my room was spacious, and not the least it is affordable. Bed was mended nicely everyday, towels shifted. The only thing that I find annoying, is that... More

My wife and I visited here for 2 nights. We had the superior room which was in the middle of the building. It was a peaceful, nice inexpensive and cosy room. The hotel staff were very friendly and would bend over backwards to help you. The hotel is in a great location in district 1, ( bars are slightly more... More

WE stayed here for 8 days and it was very clean and the staff were great. Unfortunatley the dining room didn't match the brochure. The first night we decided to eat in the hotel it didn't appear to be open. When we asked for a menu it was hard to follow. We asked for 2 beers and even thought there... More

This is my forth stay in the hotel. I can highly recommend it. Decor of the rooms is good. And the staff always pleasant and efficient. Also it is easy to find as it is opposite the entrance to the Bitexco tower, the tallest building in Ho chi minh city!

Have stayed at the Tan Hai Long 3 many times over the past four years, and was there again for Christmas-New-Year 2014-15. The front desk folks, the breakfast staffers, and the rest of the crew (to help with a broken bedside clock, for instance) are all friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is great, with not only high-end shops and restaurants,... More

Avoid rooms in front, and lower floors, its really noisy. I stayed several times in this hotel, but sometimes price is too expensive for the quality : 35 to 50 usd ok but 60 to 80 is too much. Breakfast is really great, service too, rooms and mainly bathrooms are bit old style, but beds ok and very clean. Its,... More

I arrived into Vietnam a broken man. Quickly running out of money, with a faulty bank card: having missied my flight to Hanoi due to a 5 hour delayed bus journey from Phonm Penh. I arrived at Hai Long 3, and they truly couldn't have been more helpful. They gave me directions to the banks/western union/everywhere I needed to get... More
