We picked this hotel for the reviews but we have totally been let down on this. We booked a starndard room a few weeks before getting in Ho Chi Minh to make sure we had a choice of good hotels. When we got to the hotel the room that has been allocated was very small with NO WINDOWS! Not even... more

This will be a rather different review as we encountered 2 different experiences. This is because we stayed in 2 different rooms (and room types) in the SAME hotel: Together with my two small children, aged 4 and 15 months, I joined my husband on a recent trip to HCMC. His was a work trip (leading a group of more... more

We had a "superior" room and it was the smallest we experienced in Vietnam. If one of you is moving around the room, the other had better be in bed. The location is unbeatable, great for the market, war museum, park etc. Breakfast was OK but the Pho soup blows your head off. The "gym" is a joke, with a... more

Yes, the rooms are small, but come on, how much time do you spend in the room. The rooms are neat as a pin and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was very good and frankly had the best coffee i had in Vietnam. I would definately recommend this place. We... more

We booked a deluxe room with a “special promotion” rate of $75US, which we think is too much money for such a TINY room. It is nicely decorated and has a comfortable bed with quality linens, but it is just so small. It has a tiny window – just big enough to check the weather outside. For a fairly new... more

Excellent hotel in a great location. Stayed in deluxe room very spacious and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Brekkie great each morning, omelettes made to order. Every day at 5pm the night market opens over the road with heaps of eateries great food and very cheap. Nice view from the top of the hotel overlooking the city. Would... more

This is a great boutique hotel. The location is perfect with the market right across the street. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning which was a nice perk. If you are looking for a good place to stay, with friendly staff, a good restaurant and a great location, this is your... more

The hotel really lives up to it's name: there is lavender EVERYWHERE, and the lobby doesn't let the hotel down in this respect. The fake lavender in the rooms is cute, if not a little kitsch. I agree with all the other reviews - super friendly service from ALL hotel staff, simple but yummy breakfast, small but well designed rooms... more

Stayed at the Lavender hotel for 4 nights in September. Location is excellent, staff are helpful and the roof top restaurant did surprisingly tasty food - it is a nice spot for escaping from the city. Hotel seems to market itself as a business hotel and the rooms were comfortable and well equiped. However our room was totally internal so... more

A 3 star hotel located in dist 1. Only a year old, so the rooms are new and clean. Great location right behind of Ben Than market and walking distance to the city centre. The breakfast is okay, and the service staff are friendly and helpful. more
