I'm the kind of person who like to find positives in life and will always trying to look at what's good rather than the negative. But I'm sad to say finding anything positive to say about this hotel is very difficult and we really came to disliked the place. My wife is of asian decent but a British citizen so... More

We stayed here twice, one night before we went out to the Mekong Delta, and then a few nights after we returned. It is hard to pigeonhole this hotel. The staff were all very nice and the doormen were very helpful. It is very well located close to the Palace and the market and the War Remnants museum. But much... More

Awesome place. Centrally located in the city.If you're a backpacker it's a bit of a travel to "backpacker central" if you know what I mean, as in a ten minute drive to travel agents and all that sort of stuff. The hotel is beautiful! The pool is amazing, but the lifeguards are perves. The restraunt is amazing, and very good... More

The quality of customer service varied according to locations in the hotel. The front desk receptionists were always helpful with a smile. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said with the pool and restaurant staff. Our family chose the Victory because it is one of the few inexpensive hotels near Ben Thanh market with a pool. After a long day of... More

The hotel is walking distance of reunifigation palace and war museum. Breakfast Is good but it closes at 9 am. I went at 8.15, and many dishes already empty and no one brought a more even butter. The swimming pool was full of local people, there was a swimming school. I think this hotel is overpriced .

Perfect location, kind and helpful staff, good breakfast and restaurant. I was attracted by the dreamy old facade walking by it almost every day for 5 days. Checked in to check it out. Its a very pleasant place for a over staffed and government run hotel.

Absolutely the worst hotel we experienced in Vietnam. Most of the hotels we visited were lovely and the staff were what made them fantastic. The reception staff at this place are unfriendly and treated us like we were a huge pain in their backside for staying at their hotel. They were not at all helpful and did the bare minimum... More

Never have I been treated with such contempt by a hotel. After travelling for 15hrs I arrived to be greeted by a smug, apparent manager informing me that I had only booked a room for 2 people and should I require another bed it would be $US18 per night. I showed him my booking form which clearly said 3 people,... More

On arrival the reception staff were unfriendly and I soon realised that this hotel is really for delegates and not tourists. The room wasn't very clean and I was greeted by my own resident cockroach . The pool was used by locals for swimming lessons and i was constantly asked if I was a resident or not by staff. The... The room is pretty basic but spacious and clean. The pool was crowded and gym too small, with ageing equipment. These deficiencies are compensated for by the best massage I have ever received. The massage is Vietnamese and the lady just worked my back to the extreme. Excellent
