- Room: clean, bathroom is well-equipped - Atmosphere: No mosquitos, but very noisy for rooms in front of hotel - sometimes, unstablized power -Pool: no rescue team in the early morning so it is unsafe if somebody/ children play near there -Food: Normal, not special.

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I was somewhat reluctant to book this hotel, but it was the only hotel in my price range with both a pool and gym. My stay was absolutely fine and I would not have any problems staying here again. I am a pretty laid back traveler who do not expect luxury when I do... More

We stayed for two nights in the Victory hotel with our family. Positive: - good location to explore the city centre of Saigon, almost everything in walking distance - the hotel is clean. Negative from our view: - the swimming pool couldn't be used by hotel guests because it was completely swamped with Vietnamese taking swimming lessons. We asked at... More

Hotel was pleasent enough, roof top pool seemed to be full of locals having swimming lessons. This stopped us using the pool. Reception pleasent and rooms clean just dated. Staying three nights was enough and would look elsewhere if ever staying any longer in HCMC.

This is a big hotel and you will find others in this price point that offer a better location and appeal. My room was hidden down the back of the building through numerous corridors, it looked like they had added extensions as the hotel grew (I'm guessing). My room was VERY basic and just ok, the breakfast has all the... More

Everything is fine, unless the room have a lot of mosquitos. My children got bite from them when they were sleeping. Nice pool on the roof top but dirty water. Only 5mins to the war museum and because near by the mean street that why it's very noisy. Breakfast not so special. So everything is fine !

Part off our Intrepid tour. No charm. Dirty hallways. Cold coffee in the Breakfast bar. I was planning to return for our return trip to hcm but cancelled the reservation after the tried to charge me full price for a half day stay.

As part of a tour we had 2 separate stays at the Victory. On our first stay, we were all given very smoky rooms, others in our group had grubby rooms and one family mentioned that the a/c didn´t work well. The corridors are stifingly hot. On top of that, those rooms overlooking the atrium are disturbed by the noises... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were fine and the rooms were nice, if a bit dated. Good location close to the war museum. Decent breakfast with lots of choice. We got a good deal for the price of the room booking online, however I asked if we could add a spare bed into our room for my... More

The lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. We walked in and did not get served for about 10 minutes, she only had 1 customer she was serving, then a group walked in after us, they spoke vietnamese, she started serving them even though she had clearly seen us. When it was our turn the phone rang, she answered... More
