This hotel had once been a very nice hotel. It is crying out to be renovated. We used the swimming pool next door for free. Great tour desk - we had a fantastic guide for 2 days. On the plus side it had a massive room and is in a great location. On the negative side, breakfast was poor and... More

Hotel is not modern, but is it clean and tidy. It has a good river view and the city center (for example opera house) is near - just 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel has a big rooms and nice service. There are some other facilities as massaga (SPA center in a good price) and travel agencly in this hotel.

Fairly well located hotel in District 1, but that's about it. Breaksfast was average, while the room was clean it was in need of some serious updating. The grand old building has so much potential, but just needs someone to fix it up. Luckily we were only staying the one night.

We stayed for one night just to get to the airport the following morning. For that purpose the hotel is ideally located - about 15 minutes by cab. Location wise it's good for the main attractions as well. It is on a busy road, however our room was on the back of the hotel with no window, so we never... More

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times in the past 12 months (in/out via Saigon, ranging from 1-3 nights), and note a rapid decline in all aspects. Had to ask for tea/coffee facilities in the room, bed linen had holes, water pressure inadequate, safety deposit box not working, no plug for sink (one could not be located in entire... More

As the other reviews have noted, the photo is absurdly edited. There is indeed a major road in front of the hotel and it is not picturesque at all. The hotel could be a nice historic building and a nice place to stay. The location is really great, and the staff seemed to try hard, but the upkeep is indeed... More

I stayed the hotel for two nights. It was a room without window, not asking in advance, but the cost was reasonable so no complain. The breakfast is ordinary for this class of hotel, I guess. Warm noodles are nice. I liked the location. All of the tourist places are within the walking distance. The hotel staff are relatively helpful.... More

Somebody got a copy of Paint Shop Pro - this hotel, unlike the picture, does NOT have the Saigon River lapping at its doors. Nor is the road in front a quiet, narrow street - it's in fact a 4-lane highway, bustling with taxis, motos, buses, SUVs etc. If you were thinking the photos suggested that this hotel was situated... Don't be fooled by the pictures they have been unashamedly photoshopped! The river is not as would seem right beside the hotel it is in fact separated by a 4 lane busy a-road! The room was falling apart - wallpaper peeling away from the wall, toilet seat had come away from the toilet due to rust, the view out the... More
