This guesthouse is cheap but offers you so much for the price, they could easily raise their prices and no one could complain! The staff is super friendly, giving you tips on exploring the city. We felt very welcome there! The included breakfast was nice too. We stayed in a twin room with our own bathroom and the beds were... More

Located on a quiet street in the main 'backpacker' quarter. This is where the main tourist drag is located and is so close to all the 'action' (western bars and restaurants, etc.) without being noisy. However, I would probably not choose this area for a second stay in HCMC. This is not the real Saigon! Many people opt to stay... More

Despite being just round the corner from the lively bars it's very quiet as its tucked down a quiet side street. Close enough to get to all the sights and local buses to the bus station going out of town. The room was great a good size and peaceful. What made this stand out for me was the staff. They... More

This newly opening of Giang Son 3 Hotel is just next door to the Lily hostel in an alley off Bui Vien . Its has only 18 rooms total . I chose the the room with window on ground floor which is just facing the courtyard with table setting where breakfast is served in the morning. The room is reasonably... More

This is a very decent and welcoming guesthouse in Saigon which is located centrally in the main backpacker district. Main sights to be discovered are also within walking distance. The staff is helpful and tries everything for you that you have a pleasant stay. The rooms are small but clean. Alltogether a very good place to stay.

I really don't understand how anyone can rank this guesthouse lower than a 4! We loved our stay, perfect location and so clean. What really sold the place for us was how nice and helpful the staff were, they gave us a map around the district, recommended resturants with discounts and even how much a taxi should cost to take... Originally we booked into Giang Son 2 but as we arrived very early we we're offered a room in the newly acquired and fully refurbished Giang Son 3 just around the corner and in an excellent central location for restaurants & bars but in a quiet spot (absolutely no traffic noise). The hotel is immaculate. The room, with a window,... More

We stayed in this hotel on New Years Eve. Having originally booked the sister hotel (Giang Son 2, a few doors down), they put us in this hotel instead as the one we booked was full. I was a bit dubious of this as I'm sure the one we booked was dearer - however they gave us a large room... More

I stayed in the Giang Son 2 Hotel for 3 nights in november 2014. The accomodation is centrally located (basically most of the interesting spots are within walking distance) in the heart of the backpacker area, but nevertheless very quiet. The rooms are very clean with solid facilities. All the staff, especially Huy (thank you for everything my friend!), is... More

Very confortable Guesthouse in the heart of the backpackers area: you are in the middle of nice budget restaurants, bars and travel agencies such as the "Sinhtourist" but in a very quiet location (dead end street) so you can easily rest after a busy day. The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull (ie: spontaneously offered a breakfast pack "to go"... More
