Just 10 minutes outside downtown Hanoi you find this beautiful resort style hotel. The quality of the service is very high. Rooms are spacious and tastefull decorated. There are good restaurants. Hotel is very quiet. The lobbybar could be more busy. Swimmingpool bed capacity is very limited. Airportservice is very good. More

Vietnam is fun , but the traffic is terrible and all journeys are had. When I get to Hanoi, I take sanctury in the Intercon. It is tranquil amid the chaos that is Hanoi. Maybe not your choice if it is your first visit. But it is mine after 30 or so times there. I stay in a Club room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the 'intercon' (this is what it is known as by the taxi drivers etc) while in town for a friend's wedding at Hanoi club next door. Was peaceful and lovely. Although the location is not central to downtown, it is only a short distance from the hustle and bustle to be quite enjoyable. Service... More

My partner and I stayed here for three nights in the "King deluxe club lake view" room. We paid the extra for the club access and we were pleased we did. Club access gives you free in room Internet as well as a lovely breakfast and evening nibbles and drinks in the club room. The staff at the hotel are... More

This is just an average InterContinental Hotel, whilst the setting and location is great. Service is mediocore, quality of rooms and food are good but not outstanding. Staff is very friendly and willing to please at any time. Breakfast is a good selection of Asian and International dishes. I would return. More

This was a nice hotel but we only stayed 2 of the 4 nights booked. We were in a non smoking room but could always smell smoke in the room, there was non wii fi in the room only in the common areas. The resturant was nice but if you don't like seafood there is not a lot of options.... More

I'm not going to repeat the same comments of other contributers, who rightly love this hotel, but focus on the smaller pros and cons. In summary - I would return in a heartbeat. Pros Staff - the staff here are wonderful. You know when they care if they take a problem seriously. We ate in the Vietnamese Restaurant, and ordered... More

We stayed here several nights in March, arriving late after a day of travel. Because of that we ate in one of their restaurants- Milan- and enjoyed excellent Italian food at a reasonable price including good local beer. Service was excellent Room was very large, nicely furnished, spotless with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Staff were very... More

Booked via Expedia at USD112 per night excluding tax and serivce, good price for this category. Quietly situated in Westlake, a good place to get away from hanoi's noisy motor bikes and cars on streets. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool is quite small, but the water is so clean and clear. Gym is big and the facilities... More

We checked into this hotel after many hours of travel very smoothly and room was ready with no problem. We only had 1 night as we were off to Halong Bay the next day. We went into the city by taxi, very close 100,000 VND ($5) very centrally situated. A few shops and restaurants close by that you can walk... More
