We have been in this restaurant twice during our Hanoi holiday. The food is really tasty and fresh, good choice of western and local dishes. Italian manager, Antonio, walks personally around the table to help guests to order and to check that everything is fine. Try wok calamari and seafood risotto. Banana fritters are very good too!

We called in as we walked past to take use if the air con!!! Stayed for hours......arrived at happy hour!!! After enjoying the most amazing cocktails,my favourite being the Coconut Mojito!! The menu was a very big surprise, very extensive and the Manager was extremely helpful in helping us choose what to eat. We loved every bit if it and are... More

We ate in this restaurant on our last night, near to our hotel. Good choice of Vietnamese & Italian food - fresh dishes, delicious tasters & great service. Made a nice calm choice in the midst of mad Hanoi!

What a gem to find in Hanoi. We didn't stay at the hotel but ate a the restaurant. Touch of elegance in Hanoi (well maybe not the purple velvet walls). 6 of us travelling together came upon the Green Mango. We had upstairs to ourselves. Table setting was a surprise. Vast menu to choose from. Food excellent. We all enjoyed... More

It was my first night in Hanoi, after a tiring journey (yes, missed my flight and wait for the next available flight in airport for 9 hours). Me and my friend is slightly hungry and we're still willing to look out for nice place to have my first dining in Hanoi. We ask for recommendation at hotel lobby and they... More

We dropped in here largely by chance, after I had done a bit of research on possible restaurants around where we were staying in Hanoi (Oriental Central - BRILLIANT). When we walked in to this unassuming entrance, we did not expect to be walking into something that felt like a cozy 4/5 star boutique restaurant (think fancy, but rocking it... More

So there was a rat. Right next to our table in the garden. But, this is Hanoi - rats are everywhere. And what impressed us about Green Mango was how they dealt with the rat. We were shifted upstairs and inside, had a ten percent discount applied to our bill, and were given free dessert of our choice. So, for... More

When traveling I never ever eat in the same restaurant twice in a row. Because of the wonderful food that was both beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection, accompanied with fantastic front house service from Antonio and his team at Greenmango I have now broken this rule dining 3x at this establishment The food and front house service was as... The staff was ever so friendly and helpfull with everything - from booking train tickets to Exchange money. The Room was nice, clean and quiet. Happy hour from 12 pm to 7 pm was a nice... More

If for no other reason you should stay at the Green Mango because they support the Cat Ba Langur Conservation project. Other reasons you should stay include proximity to the old quarter, friendly (and patient) staff, great cocktails and comfortable rooms. A friend recommended the Green Mango and we booked it for the first night of our stay in Vietnam.... More
