The Hanoi Mikes Hotel was incredible value for money. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a good bathroom (which included a bath as well as a shower and a multi-channel TV. The staff, who were mostly young, were extremely helpful and went to great trouble to arrange tours and make my stay thoroughly enjoyable,

Was in Hanoi for 3 nights and stayed here. Nothing special really but ok for the price. AirCon and hot water didn't work (though later will be the case in a lot of places!). We stayed 3 nights and the rooms for alright for the price. Do NOT stay on the top floor as their water tank is on the roof and you can hear working all night!! We forgot our camera incl 300 USD. They kept it for us and all the money was still there.
