Despite the fact that we only stayed here for a few nights the hostess was really friendly and helpful. She helped us book trips to Ha Long Bay/Cat Ba Island and to Sapa which were great and she gave us very good reasonable prices.. A lot cheaper than most of the other travel companions. She helped us getting our visa... More

Clean and simple nice hotel. Good Stay at that hotel ideally situated into the historical center of Hanoi. The hotel manager is very helpfull for guiding and helping in discovering. We recommend for backpackers and peoples that look for a cheap budget.

We have to say that our stay at Discovery Hotel was superb from start to finish. We didn't stay as long as we probably should have due to the shortness of our holiday in Vietnam but the hotel is an excellent base from which to explore Hanoi and the incredible Ha Long Bay. As most people have mentioned in their... More

I've never used TripAdvisor before as it seems to attract mainly negative reviews. I will however leave a GLOWING review of The Discovery 22 Hotel in Hanoi. I stayed there for 3 nights and LOVED it. After spending one night in a different hotel (which seemed to double as a brothel) I moved to Discovery 22. The family who run... More

The owners are really lovely. The hotel I'm sorry to say didn't live up to the reviews on tripadviser for us... when we arrived at the hotel we were very disappointed. Firstly the room including the bed felt damp (maybe it was because of the constant rain they have been having) the room was definitely not a superior double. The... More

We stayed here on three seperate occasion, clean enough rooms and some had balconies. I think the best quality about this hotel is the family who run it. We booked all our trips through them as they offered the best value for money and it was a really goid location. We even got taken to the market to buy clothes... More

Great location in the heart of the action of the old qtr! Really helpful family who sorted our Burmese visas for us and answered all of our million questions on Hanoi. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean complete with computer in room! Good wifi all round. Only downside is if you want an early night ask for a quieter room... More

Dear Alex, Well, so great! Thank you so much for your kind to stay and use our service as well as returning our room key. I already received the key that you sent from Bangkok (for sure, it costs you some money to send). Thank you, thank you. Please take my best regards to your friends too. Hope to have... More

The Hotel is in the old quarter of Hanoi. It's a family run place. The owners (Mr.&Mrs. Do) and the friendly staff will make you feel comfortable. I've also booked two tours (Halong Bay and Sapa) there. Mrs. Do showed me a lot of different options for both tours. Beside the cheap price compared to other people doing the same... More

Hotel in the heart of Hanoi (old quarter), the manager will welcome you and help you plan your trip in Vietnam. She can arrange any trip for you at a very good deal (train tickets, sightseeing, trecks, tours..,). We had a very good deal for a tour to the Halong bay and Sapa (all meals included, pick up, english speaking... More
