Good location. I love it. We had an upper room and the view was excellent! Our room have lot of spaces with a balcony for fresh air. My 5th time stayed at this hotel and we will come again in very near future.

This is one of the best place where to stay in Hanoi, right at the center of downtown, very near to Hoan Kiem Lake and the most attractive places in Old Quarter. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made my stay much easier and more comfortable. The view from the balcony in rooms 601, enjoying the whole scenery... More

For the price, there are much better hotels nearby. The room we had was on a lower floor, so no view. The heater did not work well, we were very cold when trying to sleep. The shower pressure was great, but the hot water did not last long. Room was spacious with a balcony, but there was a lot of... More

I rented several rooms for my family and Japanese students over the New Year holiday, and we had a great stay. The staff was great, the location was the best, and really enjoyed the free breakfast. The staff gave us very good recommendations of tours, as well as help us rent motorbikes, and send us to a very good spa... More

If you want to find that WOW spot overlooking Hoan Kiem lake this one must be hard to beat. Checked in just one night to 901 the top floor which has a huge balcony, beautiful lights, and very comfortable, ckean and brand bew room. Watching the mist over the lake, and all the lights with a wine in hand was... More

Very friendly staff, we could only say hello in Vietnamese but the man at the reception desk could speak English - this helped. Our room had a little balcony facing out to the lake - very nice. Breakfast was good, being from a country where we eat cereal for breakfast I was glad there was an option for toast and... More

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. In most respects the hotel is fairly average, but it has one feature which very few hotels in central Hanoi have: Rooms with a balcony with fairly unobstructed views of Hoan Kiem Lake!! This view is what lured us to stay here, and we enjoyed it very much. So you... More

Lovely room, friendly staff although bit biased by selling their own tours, excellent breakfast with great view, perfect location as train station and airport minibuses (opposite Vietnam airlines office) in walking distance. Would recommend. Although having renovation works while we were there, so lobby area and downstairs rooms may be very noisy, maybe check ahead. Would go back k.

Stayed at Morning Star for 3 nights and the service and reception was excellent. The rooms were clean and well presented and they went out of the way to help us in any way they could. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks especially to Tuan for being so friendly!
