We stayed in this hotel for the first two days in our trip across Vietnam. It had been booked by my travel advisor and after reading the reviews and as the holiday was for my husband’s ‘special’ birthday I paid to be upgraded to a ‘Deluxe’ room. We were shown to our (deluxe) twin cell – tiny, dark, dirty and... More

The hotel is positioned in a great part of town near the old quarter. I felt the hotel itself was basic but functional. The room could have been slightly more clean than what is was. The breakfast buffet was also average - nothing special but had all the basics you would expect.

This hotel was conveniently located for the night market which is 5 minutes walk away and the West Lake which is 15 minutes walk. It appears to be very small but the rooms were a good size and the facilities clean and in god condition. Breakfast was a mixture of Asian and western choices. Corridors very clinical and one major... More

We stayed in this nice, small hotel twice, in the beginning and in the end of our Vietnam trip. We had two different rooms (deluxe). Both were very clean and comfortable, but this in the back was definitely more quiet. In the evening noise is not a problem, but it’s getting busy on the streets from early morning, so if... More

This is a great hotel in the Old Quarter. Just a short drive from the airport it's close to the night markets, restaurants & other main attractions in Hanoi. It's only a 10 minute walk from the West Lake which leads on to other attractions such as the Pagodas & museums in the north of the city. We had a... More

According to a fault from our side we booked the wrong month. The hotel offered us a free upgrade for 2 of the booked 3 nights. The first room was a standard one. The fan in the bathroom of the neighbour room was so loud that my girlfriend could hardly sleep. The 2 deluxe rooms where very nice with a... More

Stayed here in January 2011. Found it a great little hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Clean rooms and friendly staff and a great breakfast. Lots to explore within walking distance. Don't expect 4 or 5 stars in 3 star accommodation and you will enjoy your stay.

We had 2 nights here at start of touring holiday, so first hotel in Vietnam, subsequent experience of others suggested it was ok but nothing special. Location is good - north end of the Old Quarter and not far from West Lake, Mausoleum etc so main sights accessible by foot if you're feeling brave enough. Hotel is a tall narrow... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Its near the city center (old town) and a short walking-distance to the lake. The rooms were nice and clean but the air-conditioning didnt work properly. The friendly staff tried to fix it but didnt put a lot of effort in it. Breakfast was good and overview from top of the building (11th floor)... More
