According to a fault from our side we booked the wrong month. The hotel offered us a free upgrade for 2 of the booked 3 nights. The first room was a standard one. The fan in the bathroom of the neighbour room was so loud that my girlfriend could hardly sleep. The 2 deluxe rooms where very nice with a... More

Small modern hotel just near the old quarter, walking distance to market and lake. Extremely, clean and fresh. Hotel staff friendly , very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed here in January 2011. Found it a great little hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Clean rooms and friendly staff and a great breakfast. Lots to explore within walking distance. Don't expect 4 or 5 stars in 3 star accommodation and you will enjoy your stay.

We had 2 nights here at start of touring holiday, so first hotel in Vietnam, subsequent experience of others suggested it was ok but nothing special. Location is good - north end of the Old Quarter and not far from West Lake, Mausoleum etc so main sights accessible by foot if you're feeling brave enough. Hotel is a tall narrow... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Its near the city center (old town) and a short walking-distance to the lake. The rooms were nice and clean but the air-conditioning didnt work properly. The friendly staff tried to fix it but didnt put a lot of effort in it. Breakfast was good and overview from top of the building (11th floor)... More

Average place. Room was clean and tidy. We stayed in a park view room on 11th floor which was high enough to avoid too much street noise. Room facilities fine and quite spacious for the price. Breakfast variable but on the whole absolutely fine. Lift has a mind of its own and, when it's busy, we were going up and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our Vietnam trip. A very clean and practical hotel at a very good price. It is a short walk to the old quarter so you feel in the thick of things. (15-20 mins to the lake and same distance to the mausoleum and palace). Staff were very friendly especially the bar... More

We changed locations to this hotel as our original one was in the heart of the Old Town and very small and noisy. We were upgraded to a delux suite on arrival, which was amazing. The room was bright and spacious and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful one offered to take around the night... More

My husband and I stayed at Anise hotel for our 2 nights in Hanoi (our second time in Vietnam) and extended our stay for another night because we felt so welcomed there. The rooms were very spacious, clean, modern, well decorated with big window to the park, the beds, unfortunately are quite hard, but not so hard that it makes... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was fine. Our room was a bit musty smelling but the bed was comfortable. The hotel location was good not to far from the places we wanted to see. We did have some confusion, we were awaiting a pickup at 8 am by our guide early on our last morning to... More
