Having paid for this hotel for two nights in advance I was extremely irritated to be told that my room was not available. Instead I was offered a disgusting windowless cell on the ground floor. When I jacked up we were taken to the Astoria down the street - a better room, but still windowless. And run down. When we... more

Very good location. Free airport pickup. Staff very nice. Basic breakfast included. However hotel needs alot of maintenance. Showers are not the greatest. Constant buzzing noise from some machine in hall way making it very hard to sleep. Rooms are not sound proof so you can hear everything from hallway. I would think that you could get alot better value... more

We originally booked 5 nights at this hotel after finding it on hostelworld, but we decided to leave after 2, and give up our deposit. Even though I know websites always make a place look better than it is, these people should get an award! We don't have any complaints about the staff, they seemed quite friendly; however, the facility... more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to be a problem. We stayed in a bodega suite as our twin share room was unavailable owing to new a/c being installed. Breakfast was more than adequate. Would stay here again and again. more

Pick-up from the airport was waiting for us on arrival. Check in and staff were always very friendly. We didn't book any tours through here. Breakfast OK - crusty baguette, fried eggs, butter, jam, tea. The room was OK, very tired and in need of a makeover. It didn't give the same impression as the photos on the website. I... more

I was staying at Bodega Hotel in Hanoi for 6 nights in Feb-08. The staff was as helpful and friendly as you would expect. The breakfast, described as "Full english breakfast" consist of one baguette with butter and jam + two fried eggs and coffee or tea, so did not fulfill the expectations. Tour bookings at the hotel, which is... more

My best advice to you. Stay there is OK but don't be persuated to join any tour they recommended. Please go outside and look around and make sure they provide you air-condition and clean food on the boat. I joined their Ha Long Bay tour and found that no air-conditioning at all in the boat. However, I paid the price... more

My family and I were stayed in Bodega Hotel, Hanoi from 11 November till 14 November 2007. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They even carry my son to cross the road whenever they see us coming back where the van will usually drop us at the opposite road. This hotel has free internet service and also games... more

We stayed here for a week and it was great. They helped us organize a tour but weren't pushy about it ( RARE ! ) , everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was big and yummy. The rooms are colossal and cavernous - we went into the standard and deluxe . They give you fresh fruit every day, advise... more
