Pros: In the famous lake Very nice view of the city Nice view from the pool Massage facility Room size Cons: Room smelled like it has not been used since years Room had mosquitoes No lift in the hotel Food was not good. I felt like they ordered food from street hawkers and served us. Very old hotel and needs... More

My flight got cancelled with Vietnam Airlines and this is the hotel they chose to put us in. As it was late and my two year old was knocked out I had no choice but to stay there. Firstly, the place is reminiscent of the hotel in the movie the shining. Gloomy, empty and badly maintained. The sheets on the... More

Beautiful views of the west lake anx old fashion decoration But the maintenance should be better. Only few double rooms, more twin rooms which is upsetting for couples. the hotel has 3 floors but without elevators. .. :/

We got this Hotel in a Package deal, so we did not choose it, nor could we exchange it. It is a 4 star hotel, but feels more like 2. The rooms are clean enough but not close to 4 star in Europe or USA. There is only on TV channel in English (CNN News). Everything is plain and simple.... More

This hotel was booked for us, we did not choose it. First impressions were good - the reception staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient; the lobby area was very pleasant with a beautiful open air garden/water feature separating the lobby from the dining room. The staff were, throughout our stay, very helpful and pleasant. Downside? It is a long way... More

I just got back from Hanoi last week, chose this hotel because my client's stay at Intercontinental Westlake which just 5 mins walk from Thang Loi. I've read the review you guys gave on this site, I was a bit worried that all those bad comments come true. It turned out, the receptionist was very friendly, I got a cute... More

No towels,no covers for deckchairs were available!I should buy a towel!Staff at pool smoked cigarettes and laughed about me,sitting there and doing nothing...very lazy. When I wanted to complain at the reception desk. Hotel front desk was really unfriendly. The general manager did not show up,did not want to talk to me!I never... More

We stayed here for two nights and I cannot say anything nice about this hotel. The bathroom was mouldy, the room smelt of damp, the breakfast was awful, they don't provide water, tea or coffee or anything in the room. It is a long way away from the old town or anywhere - you need a taxi to find even a... More
