As soon as we arrived they were right there to take our bags and check us in. They took us into the dining area for fruit and some tea and coffee. This hotel does not have an elevator In the old wing but that was not issue because they carried all the bags up for us. And we considered it... More

The hotel entrance is 3.5 m nothing more, behind the entrance it expands. The room I had was big, but the height of the room is not more than 2,20 m and the ceiling height in the bathroom is 1.85m I could touch the ceiling with my head. When you walk down via the stairs, becarefull I hit my head... More

Stayed here for three nights. Was a bit worried on arrival because it has a very small frontage but opens out and is much bigger than first appears. Very warm welcome and was given a seat in the reception/hall way on arrival whilst we checked in a a refreshing juice which we were grateful for after a long flight. We... More

What a usefully situated hotel. Walking distance to the Water puppet theatre, lake, shops and superb cheap eating opportunities. We stayed here during peak season and found the staff to helpful, although did improve their attitude when Tipped! We took a bit of time to sort this out being Kiwis but as they say " when in Rome"...Rooms clean and... More

We stayed 2 nights at Classic Street Hotel. We stayed in room 403, and the room itself was average; no complaints. Both nights, we were kept up until about midnight because the room is RIGHT next to an adjoining building whose tenants go out onto the fire escape to smoke and talk. Besides the window separating you, you're maybe 3.5... More

Compared to the recent hotels we've stayed at whist in Vietnam this was extremely poor. The receptionist was condescending when we explained that we normally book a twin bedded room otherwise we would have added our preference in the comments section. She ignored our remarks and charged us 5 USD extra. The room was average size but was dark, poorly... More

Set in a great location this hotel frontage is tiny but once you walk up the steps it opens up into a delightful place to stay. We had used the laundry service but unforunately it came back damp still so had to hang it round the room to dry but when mentioned to staff they were very apologetic and a... More

We stayed for six days over new year. It is a lovely hotel, with good clean rooms and in a perfect location. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff, who were warm and personable and helped us with recommendations. The breakfast was lovely. One tip: don't use the laundry service - we had a bad reaction to whatever they... More

Just came back from a wonderful four night stay at Classic Street Hotel. I can't find any flaws - the staff members were very attentive, clean spacious rooms, free wifi, great breakfast (with Pho!), and great location. The Hoan Kiem Lake is only about 3 minutes walk from the hotel and the street is buzzing with little stalls and cafes.... More
