Located in a crowed and narrow area of Hanoi, It seems noisy and a bit dirty if you carefully observe, especially in rainy day. The lobby's used to held weddings, events, which sometimes annoys tourrist. Generally, not bad to have a cheap short trip in HN.

Want to enjoy a Vietnamese wedding? Here you can have one every day! Some days even two! The lobby in this hotel is used for weddings almost every afternoon, some times twice a day. And though your shower may be cold, the lobby is hot - from noise and traffic - not always on the legal side, according to my... More

I have been to Asean International Hotel for my short stay of my conference stay at Hanoi Vietnam. It is a very good hotel with all the facilities. Good and mannered staff. Clean restaurant serves very good food. It is bit away from most of attraction but good for business tour or you are in for a conference

Quite an old hotel with dated furniture - wifi works though. Buffet breakfast was also disappointing - sad looking cuts of meat and fruit with more flies than guests at the line. Only saving grace was that the staff are very helpful and attentive. Would recommend trying another hotel, unless it suits your budget.

I stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to my business colleagues. It is a smaller hotel with only 66 rooms. The paintwork, carpet and facilities needed upgrading. TV was an old style CRT, probably 18 inch maximum. The bed was a queen, comfortable enough and the room was clean. Staff were friendly at reception. Breakfast was included and... More

Stayed here during my trip not too long ago. it wasn't too bad. at night, you can take a walk outside the hotel and there will be people selling stuff on the streets. interior of the hotel looks fine. Breakfast is standard. Rooms looked okay too. It's Vietnam, so you can't compaint much. Overall, it was acceptable.

It is an old hotel but basic need like cleaniness and shopping convenience makes my 5 days stay a pleasant one.

We chose this hotel because of its location, we thought it was close to the National Convention Centre but it wasn't, in fact very few taxi drivers even knew where the Centre was. The hotel's web site gave the impression of a beautiful French Colonial style hotel with many facilities, the reality was a faded building which was crumbling and... More

I stayed at the Asean for three weeks during Novemeber whilst working in VietNam. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, food is fine, laundry was returned within the day, speedy room service. Front rooms have very effective double glazing which minimises street noise and the rooms are solidly built so that there is no room- to -room noise. The... More
