We booked a Superior Room and when they checked us into it the room was small with a very tiny window at the ceiling so we felt a little closed in. The hotel itself is very nice the rooms are all done in wood bed was not too bad but then all beds in Asia seem to be hard. They... More

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of most sights that tourists tend to want to visit. The staff were very helpful and even though their English was not very good we managed to communicate effectively. The room was as per the photo on their website and very clean. The bathroom was in need of renovation as the shower... More

This is an average hotel. The beds are comfortable and rooms are fairly big for Hanoi. The timber furniture is absolutely stunning. The WiFi is great. The only downsides are the tv's are really fuzzy and the bathrooms are very old- the water from the shower goes all over the floor. However, the showers are very warm and don't run... More

I admit it has been a few years since I stayed here and it had recently opened but it remains one of the most stunning hotels anywhere. Decor, rooms, lighting are exquisite. Yes this is an expensive hotel but it is what an expensive hotel should be! Our 'room' was a stand alone unit, indoor outdoor showers, perfect bed and... More

I have had the opportunity of staying at a lot of luxury hotels around the world. The Nam Hai does not disappoint, if anything it blows all the other hotels out of the water. First of all the building design, layout, lighting, music, everything has been perfectly thought out. Only to be topped by the amazing staff. Sure it's expensive,... More

we were placed here via a touring company as a day room to cleanup between flights and activities. Room sizes were not bad and furnished with dark wood finishing sin truly fantastic condition. Otherwise completely average with a set of staff that really wasn't that nice to deal with. Not friendly at all. Additionally I'll go on record as saying... More

We stayed in Nam Hai for 8 nights. One of the very best hotel we have ever stayed! The whole experience has been very beautiful, very good service, beautiful room, everything what a 5 star should be. The only problem we had was after staying here , we were always comparing all other hotel to Nam Hai! There was not... More

We have stayed in so many nice hotels around the world, and place the Nam Hai right at the top for comfort, style, food, staff and general setting. We loved going from the quiet surroundings of the hotel to the beautiful town of Hoi An, but could just as easily have spent the entire time at the hotel.

We were five couples, accommodated in a beautifully appointed villa with our own swimming pool, ample entertainment space for communal dining or just hanging out together. The design of the villa is such that each bungalow has ample privacy, should one desire quiet time, or a nap on the gorgeous white four-poster beds with billowing mosquito netting. Interior design is... More

My (new!) husband and I spent a blissful 10 nights at the Nam Hai in March 2014, and it was nothing short of incredible. We had a private beach Villa, which was jaw-droppingly beautiful, our own butler to cater for our every need plus all the fantastic amenities of an incredible 5* hotel. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience - if... More
