We stayed at this hotel at the start of a tour of Vietnam. The foyer is nice, staff very nice, but the hotel is awful. We had room 306. It was very smelly , paint peeling off in places, just not nice. Our guide asked us how the room was, we said awful. He went in and told the hotel,... More

The room is comfortable with clean toilet and toiletries.Mini fridge, safe box, bedroom slippers, plates and cups are also available. Price is affordable and there is a supermarket within walking distance. It is easy to get around as it is not that far from the Old Quarters. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

We stayed here twice with a tour of Vietnam. on the first occasion, our first room (315) smelt really odd as soon as we entered. The metal struts holding up the bathroom tiles were rusty and there were quite a few cobwebs around. It felt quite grubby. We got our room changed to 615 and that was much better. The... More

Excellent location, only a 5 minutes walk away from the lake and the old center. My room was in the front but the noise didn't bother me. Very smalll balcony with no chairs or table. Had to pull the chair from the room to be able to sit there. Free wifi, worked well even on the balcony. The room and... More

Stayed 2 nights at beginning of our Vietnam tour and then one more night/full day on our last night. Rooms on the 6th floor were spacious and updated. AC was nice, wi-fi worked great and the breakfast selection was very good. It's easy walking distance to Old Quarter, Lake and other attractions. Beds are kind of hard but so were... More

We stayed in this hotel with our family of 4 (2 teenagers) for 2 nights, as part of a tour. This is a no-thrills, 3 star hotel: what you see is what you get. Rooms are adequate, with hard beds & pillows and oldfashioned room styling. Aircon is good, though public spaces have no aircon (?), except for the breakfast... More

The location of the hotel is very well in order to visit Hanoi. The rooms are quite old, the bathrooms very small. We stayed here twice and the bathroom was better in the first room, so there seem to be different standards of renovation. The rooms are very badly isolated and you can hear all the street noise which makes... More

The two of us spent 3 nights here as the 1st part of our 7 night Holiday in Vietnam in . In a nutshell it is a cosy, 60's sort of place, somewhat like St Andrews in Sri Lanka,( St Andrews much better finesse ) with its unique, musty, old smells and feeling, and was a good place to start... More

Our first hotel during our Vietnam tour. The service was fine, the room we had was spacious with everything needed in it. Don't expect a nicely decorated choice of furniture though, it is more a 60's style. Clean it was and the king size bed was super. If you want to avoid the same mistake we made: don't forget to... We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in total (the first night on the 4th floor and the last two nights on the top floor. The rooms were large & were newly decorated. The bathroom was quite big and had a walk in shower. The hotel is just under a ten minute walk to the old quarter which was... More
