First bonus of Downtown hotel is that it offers a cheap price for a good stay. Everything seems very good to me (especially for the price I have to pay). The room is quite spacious, equipped with all facilities (fridge, air-con, TV, clean bathroom). Although the hotel does not have the lift, the porter is very helpful to help me... More

Relatively cheap hotel but not great. A lot of stairs which i didn't think would be a problem but we weren't offered help when we arrived to carry our bags up. The room was ok, but did feel a bit unclean, and the bath tub badly leaked. Also a smell of smoke for some reason. An ok hotel for the... More

The hotel is located in the old quarter and is pretty close to everything and most things are in walking distance. All of the staff we met were friendly and tried to help us as much as they could. We were located on the third floor and as previously mentioned there is no elevator. They did help with the bags... More

The hotel is fine! The only minor point would be the amount of stairs you have to walk to reach your room. Breakfast is provided and included! The staff is friendly and the in-house travel agency provided us with some good information and trips!

The hotel is pretty cheap. The Staff were nice. No lift, so we had to walk up and down the stairs all the time. The stairs smelled of cigarette smoke, which came up the stairwell from downstairs and not much ventilation to get rid of that smell. The room was clean and big. We got a balcony, which was good.... We stayed here for 2 nights when we first arrived in vietnam. The hotel itself was fine and the manager and her husband (who runs travel shop next door) were both lovely and helpful. However, I had 3 gold rings stolen from my wash bag during my stay. All other valuables we had locked up or with us, but I... More

Was addressed here by Kangaroo Hotel after we asked them for a room with a harder and better mattress. Double room is $14 and was clean and comfortable. We were in room 303 (top floor) and enjoyed the view from the window. Staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is included and similar to the one offered by most hotels (though... More

For a place to crash and escape the heat at a low price - it's just right. Good location. Clean enough. A/C worked well, but dripped a lot of water. Cable TV with 3 movie channels. Didn't try breakfast, so don't know...

Really nice family. Great rooms with ac,wardrobe, fridge and kettle. It was like a little home for us in our gap year. The breakfast included was from a set menu but was all made fresh for you and was good sizes. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thankyou

We were moved to this hotel when the place we originally booked stuffed up our booking, and I'm glad we were. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean, air con works amazingly. The breakfast was awesome and you got some variety. Staff weren't particulary helpful, just quiet people which is fine. Located in the main area of... More
