Good placement near the lake, nice rooms, good service and hospitality. Be care booking external services, they cheat us inflating prices in a train booking. I don't suggest about booking external services.

Thank you very much for your stay at Authentic Hanoi Hotel. We are very glad to hear that you were pleased with your stay. Relating to your external services, we are very sorry because you have been overcharged but we already checked with our staff. They do not help you to book or arrange any train tickets. We just only... More

Hanoi (July 22-25 2014) The room was nice and the breakfast staff was great. You have to ask for pho as they are brought out from the kitchen. Additionally, There is a grocery store just down the street (to the left when you get out of the hotel). We (family of 6) go there for snacks and drinks every day.... More

We stayed at the Authentic in a suite because we needed a night as our tour was cancelled due to bad weather. We had been staying nearby & they were booked out. We understand why the Authentic had a number of vacancies as there was no comparison for the same price. The staff are very average, the rooms need a... More

Hotel is small, located on Ly Thai To street. It is very close to Hoan Kiem Lake but not as busy as Old Quarter streets nearby. From the hotel just walk 5 minutes you get to Ngoc Son Temple or Thang Long Theatre. Room is small but comfortable furnished. Free wifi and breakfast on the 9th floor is very good.... More

My wife and I stayed at Authentic Hanoi for 4 nights in early June 2014. The first two nights we stayed at the cheaper Deluxe City View room at level 7 and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the room. Furnishings were luxurious, bed very comfortable, air-con quiet and working, bathroom clean, did not hear any road noise... More

We stayed in a second floor room looking down on the street, over a 2 stage stay we lucked out and got the same room twice. The aircon was not very efficient and the room stunk of cigarette smoke. The breakfast room was small and crowded. The breakfast choices are geared towards an Asian clientele, certainly not Western tastes, though... More

Thank you very much for your kind information. First of all, we would like to say " SORRY" for the inconvenience caused for your stay. We have the nice restaurant on 10th floor with the lovely view. But we offered our travel agent the guide training. So we have to moved to the first floor. So it caused the crowd... More

This must be my third visit to the Authentic in the last two years and they continue to maintain good standards throughout. It’s close enough to the old quarter of Ha Noi for an evening stroll around the busy streets, yet far enough away (about 5 mins on foot) to enable you to escape from it all at night. The... More
