Back at the dragon for a second time. They have made many upgrades to the property since the last time we stayed. A beautiful courtyard loaded with caged singing birds, antiques to rival a museum collection. The VIP suites are spacious and we'll air conditioned. The bathrooms are remodeled, clean and with great hot water and shower pressure. The breakfast... More

I always stay at Dragon Hotel every time I come to Vietnam. My most recent stay was in February 2014 for three nights and I had a great time staying there. The hotel is located in front of the lake which is very good. The thing I love the most about this hotel is the unique ancient architect style that... More

"Thank you very much sir," was the kind reply I received when I told the kind front desk attendant that I would never stay at this hotel again. Truth be told, I felt bad telling him as we was one of the hotel's kinder features. In terms of accommodation, the rooms are not bad, spacious and affordable. In terms of... More

The location is very good, in front of the lake, a liitle bit far from the business district. But the hotel is old and need renovation. personally, I dont like the interior and exterior. And absolutely this hotel needs more lights. The breakfast is poor. I stayed for 1 night and check out the day after. the bed is hard.... More

I had a standard room with a bathroom. The shower was a showerhead no curtains. A big hard bed but slept like a rose. Breakfast was a complete waste of time but the street has a good place to go. Somehow they cant write proper bills. The amount for laundry and water and coke was 60 dollars exactly. When i... More

Extremely nosy hotel as windows are poor and a main road is right afront of the hotel. In addition, across the street is a café where you hear people in the night too. Beds are very hard. Bathroom is not a proper shower. Looks rather like a hotel where you go after picking up a girl.

Nice Viet-style hotel in a good location. It's right across the street from the lake and the sheraton. Considering it's about $100 less than the sheraton, I'd say the value is really good. This place is extremely clean and the decor is great. I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in Hanoi... More

The Dragon was $40 for a basic room. Whilst the decor is nice, lots of wood carving and an indoor fish pond, the room was small and smelt of old tobacco. The bedsheets smelt foisty like they had been used a few times since the last wash. Plenty of hot watert though and powerful showers. Not a bad place, but... More

Elected to try this hotel on my first visit to Hanoi although uncertain how good it would be. Alternative was Sheraton where meeting was being held. Sheraton's are everwhere so would not have any authentic Vietnam hotel experience if I stayed there. Sheraton (max 5 min walk) is very nice indeed but colleagues observed its prices are very high. Dragon... More

my stay here was absolutely fantastic, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was very helpful and polite. the food was served in a lovely little restaurant over looking a beautiful indoor pond. the price was low when compared with the sheraton which is nearby, and the service was of a very similar, if not better quality. in addition to...
