Functional hotel for business travels, 7-8 minute walk from the Opera house. Large, clean room. Good wifi connection everywhere. Staff was friendly. Breakfast selection was small, but they serve good pho every morning.

A very nice hotel in Central Hanoi, with some good local restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant is pretty good too, breakfast is a usual selection of yogurts, eggs, tea, coffee etc. not gonna win any awards, but enough to fill you up. Rooms are big and spacious, with good clean bathrooms. Will be back.

De Syloia Hotel was the first experience of Vietnamese hospitality for our family of four on our big Asian vacation experience. The consistently friendly, helpful and respectful staff created a lasting good impression, and whatever we got up to during the day or the evening, it was always a pleasure to return to the hotel. We always received sound advice... More

Some boutique hotels have lots of style, which you pay dearly for, and offer little by the way of functionality for a business traveller (while many business hotels lack character and style). De Syloia is quaint and a reasonably small operation. Rooms are reasonable sized and comfortable, amenities are of good quality, wifi is ever present and free, fresh fruit... More

The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast could be improved and the wifi in the hotel is very weak. I'd suggest this hotel if you are only in Hanoi for a few days, otherwise an extended stay can be challenging for Westerners. The hotel has charm though

I really could not fault the hotel. Friendly reception and door staff. Nice room and spacious bathroom (with a bath), crisp white sheets, excellent varied breakfast (including Pho - you should try it at least once), morning newspaper and more or less everything you would get in a 4 star for much less and much more in being treated like... Will definitely go back to this hotel. Food is good (big servings though), staff very courteous and helpful and location is perfect. It's within a short walking distance from important landmarks and offices in Hanoi.

The location, facilities, food, service and staff were all great. And very affordable. It behaves like a 5star hotel but much more affordable. It is within walking distance to the main offices and interesting places in Hanoi. The staff are very helpful in giving tips on how to go around the area. Definitely will stay there again when I come... More

This is a wonderful boutique hotel for business. The ammenities are sufficient, room is spacious and I had a room with double windows so the sounds of the traffic were down to a minimum. The restaurant serves a fantastic lunch.
