A well presented, quiet hotel with all the facilities you need. Personally I would have preferred a more central place to stay but couldn't fault the hotel at all. Staff were pleasant, breakfasts fine, room well appointed. more

Guoman is regrettably slipping from its position as a premier "boutique hotel". Rooms are becoming "tired" and grimy. Staff are equally as "tired" and disinterested. Food in dining room is relatively expensive and very poor quality. After two visits over the last twelve months it is time to find a new "bolthole" in Hanoi for next stay. more

Can't really understand the comments about the staff being unfriendly, they were lovely to us, and helped us to book a wonderful and well priced trip to Halong Bay with a private guide. My daughter and son-in-law were staying at this hotel , I was at the Hanoi Elegance 2. The Guoman could never take a message - as no one clearly speaks or understands English . Agree with the previous reviewers that the Guoman's location and comfort & cleanliness are a bit above average. The breakfast buffet is a bit thin but still adequate.
