Horison hotel was a very pleasant hotel. It had an unheated outdoor pool, provided buffet breakfast and meals as required. Inerternet access was slow and in the business centre. Rooms spacious and quiet.Staff very helpful and friendly. The buffet meals were of excellent value and faultless, good selection of wines. It has good gym facilities. Room service very good. All in... more

Stayed there for a few nights recetly and found it to be a reasonable standard business hotel in the centre of the city. Hotel has recently been bought over and will be the subject of a makeover shortly which should negate some of the comments about it. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable and breakfast was okay. Dinner at night... more

The hotel is a large international hotel catering mainly it seems to business travellers. I stayed here for four nights on business and noticed several areas requiring improvement. First the spa is not really a spa, it is an old beauty salon with spa-like facilities. The massage I received was terrible and stopped it half way through as I just... more

Haved stayed here a few times, dependable, reliable and good overall value. More suitable for business than tourist hotel, have to travel to get near any of the tourist attractions. Gym is a bit limited. Good service and business centre. more

I'm at the Hanoi Horison as I write this... spending 4 days here for a business trip. The hotel delivers in terms of location, cleanliness, services and easy access to customers. If you are ever visiting Viettel, you can walk to their facility from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is good but not exceptional - internet access is slow.. .$12/day... more

I stayed 6 nights at Horison for my business trip. It was a lacklustre hotel but the most unforgiveable incident was cash stolen from my room on the day I was about to check out. I had some cash in my wallet which was placed in one of the pockets of my pants. When I returned to the room after... more

Average stay, paid $US140 a night, didnt rate the service, many mix ups when ordering at the bar. Plus requested airport pickup which never happend, though happier to pay $US14 at the taxi stand rather than the hotels $US40 service. probably would expect better service. the white taxis at the hotel though were great for getting to appointments. more

One of the best hotels in Hanoi. We were truly impresseed by the service and we liked the convenient location just between Van Mieu (Literature Temple) and Phan Phuc (Diplomatic Area). Rooms are spacious with a tasteful interior and competle facilites for leissure and business. Room rates are still - for Hanoi - good value for money. Do not miss... more

A curious mix of great and average, the Horison is 5-star but not as you know it! Initial impressions were good – a grand marble lobby and friendly and efficient reception. Other high points were the beauty salon (which did the best manicure and pedicure I have ever had for only US$22) and the restaurant (fantastic breakfast and lunch buffets).... more

In my opinion, Horison caters to non-western business people. The majority of the guests during my stay there were mostly Asian business men. The hotel is OK. There are visible signs of wear and tear, but overall passable for a business hotel. The staff speaks English and I had no problems what so ever. Internet connection was slow. Reservations through... more
