Stayed 2 nights then returned for another night's stay as part of our itinerary. We were happy to come back. Spacious comfortable rooms. Comfortable bedding. Japanese toilets an interesting curiosity. Staff courteous, pleasant, a bit stiff. Pool not inviting, completely enclosed in an austere way. Does not allow view of the city. Short taxi distance to old Hanoi. Reasonable breakfast.... More

Came here for lunch at Benkay. The food was ok but staff attitude was unacceptable for a so-called 5* hotel. One staff pointed her finger at my face while I was looking at the menu. Others looked like they hadnt eaten for days. None of them ever smiled or paid any attention to our table. I will not reccomend for... More

Location for tourists was a bit average, ideally we would have liked to be closer to the Old quarter. The restaurant food was expensive and my boyfriend got seriously sick after eating their pizza. The staff were friendly enough but after travelling for close to 12 hours from Australia and it being 1.30am our time we were very taken aback... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on business. The hotel was very clean, rooms were well presented and clean. We stayed in an executive suite which was quite large and roomy and had a great view of the city and park area. One thing that stood out for me was Breakfast, they have a huge selection of food, more... More

Stayed here for three nights whilst on a tour of Vietnam. Hanoi is a fabulous city full of action and buzz and it was lovley to be able to return to Nikko for some peace and tranquility. Our room was spacious with a superb bathroom all kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. We were able to control the in room heating/air... More

I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is standard, very good even and it's definitely not on the shabby side. The location isn't excellent. At least not to me.. The amenities in the vicinity was not satisfactory for me. The french areas seemed to offer more cafes, shopping and just easy access to nightlife compared to the area around... More

I recently stayed at this hotel while on business. The hotel is a little dated but offers all of the amenities. The size of the room is good and the bathroom is nice. There is AC in the room but it appears to be centrally controlled and is too hot, hotels should remove the control panel if they prefer to... More

Its amazing how the Nikko managed to change everything from the moment you cross the door. Everything at the hotel have the Japanese touch of simplicity and minimalism. The rooms are simple but super clean. They remind me to a business hotel trapped in the 80's. The breakfast is not the best I ever seen, but for sure you will... More

I've stayed at the Nikko a few times and didn't like it. It's terribly orderly and what you might want and expect in Japan - if that's your thing you will enjoy Hanoi's Nikko. The heated toilet seats are unnerving and the breakfasts disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed was a Greek salad in the hotel's bar.
