Stayed here for three nights whilst on a tour of Vietnam. Hanoi is a fabulous city full of action and buzz and it was lovley to be able to return to Nikko for some peace and tranquility. Our room was spacious with a superb bathroom all kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. We were able to control the in room heating/air... More

I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is standard, very good even and it's definitely not on the shabby side. The location isn't excellent. At least not to me.. The amenities in the vicinity was not satisfactory for me. The french areas seemed to offer more cafes, shopping and just easy access to nightlife compared to the area around... More

I recently stayed at this hotel while on business. The hotel is a little dated but offers all of the amenities. The size of the room is good and the bathroom is nice. There is AC in the room but it appears to be centrally controlled and is too hot, hotels should remove the control panel if they prefer to... More

I Haven't Stayed Here Myself But Come To Visit Some Friends. The Staffs Are Very Attentive And Always Smile While Offering The Service. Its amazing how the Nikko managed to change everything from the moment you cross the door. Everything at the hotel have the Japanese touch of simplicity and minimalism. The rooms are simple but super clean. They remind me to a business hotel trapped in the 80's. The breakfast is not the best I ever seen, but for sure you will... More

I've stayed at the Nikko a few times and didn't like it. It's terribly orderly and what you might want and expect in Japan - if that's your thing you will enjoy Hanoi's Nikko. The heated toilet seats are unnerving and the breakfasts disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed was a Greek salad in the hotel's bar.

Hotel service and hardware mantainance is good. Whole room is full of light even in the cloudy day which brings the whole stay very comfortable. The room is immaculately clean. On the downside is the shower curtain with traces of mald, a bit noisy if the room is facing the street. Definitely would recommend it.

Business like hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast had a big variety. We even tried the dinner buffet which has a large selection of japanese, vietnamese and western food and sweets. A walk to the center from the hotel is around 20-25 min, not easily done during the day because of the humidity but much better during the night. Wifi available... More

The Nikko is a good hotel, but pretty close to needing a renovation. The rooms are large and comfortable and the service efficient. It has, of course, a very Japanese influence; Breakfast, for example, offers Vietnamese, Japanese and Western options. Unfortunately this does mean that the each option is constrained and I found the health options (western) rather limited. For... More
