It is very hard to affirm something to be absolute but we just want to say that we were very delighted with our trip to Vietnam. Although this was the first time we had come to Vietnamtripadvisor, we weren’t disappointed with the services provided by them. On the first day, we spent a day to go around Hanoi we visited... more

We had a very enjoyable stay! This hotel provided everything you think of when staying at a hotel at this range. Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, excellent service, and comfortable beds which provided a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was superb. Little extras such as two different energy drinks as an option was a special touch. If I every return... more

After taking an 18 hour flight from Los Angeles to Hong Kong and then another 3 hour flight to Hanoi, my father and I sure were happy to see a luxurious hotel waiting for us. This hotel is THE nicest hotel we saw in Hanoi. It certainly wasn't the biggest, but it was very attractive inside. We stayed in a... more

This had been said by others and it is indeed the best location in Hanoi, being on the edge of the bustle, which can be overwhelming. Looking out of our hotel window to the Opera House square below, one could indeed be in Paris, surrounded by beautiful Belle Epoque architecture. I cannot fault the service, cleanlines or friendliness of the... more

Arguably the best location in Hanoi for tourists. Its right next to the Opera house so hard to miss. Very comfortable hotel with a price to match. Not the friendliest of service which is expected for a 5 star but not rude all the same. The 3 piece string set in the evenings is a nice touch and rooms are... more

In response to Zangtoi, On Behalf of the Hotel Management at the Hilton Hanoi Opera I would like to thank you for taking the time to write about your experiences during your stay here in Hanoi. Of course, while we welcome constructive feedback, it is always with a great degree of concern and especially so when we receive a negative...

Hanoi is beautiful, full of small streets, but it is also very poor and when you enter the Hilton, you feel like in a different world. They have same amenities as anywhere in the world. As a Gold card member, we got upgraded and got club access, which is really good, full of nice hors d'oeuvres and great american breakfast.... more

Have stayed at Hanoi Sheraton and Fortuna, and my first time at the Hanoi Hilton. Picked up at the airport by the hotel car, which is a BMW 5/7 series, and you can select the ipod music, very cool. The hotel lobby is the typical large atrium, 5-star wanna-be, a little dated look. The check-in process was decently quick. Immediately... more

I stayed at the Hanoi Hilton Opera in Feb 2009 and found the location to be fantastic. It is an easy cab ride to the airport (30-40 minutes), West Lake and of course the old town. The walk to the lake takes 10 minutes then another 10 minutes to the old town. In terms of the hotel itself, I had... more
