I stayed for two nights at the Hilton opera hanoi and paid for the executive floor package. The location of the hotel is great and can't be faulted and if you don't know your way around it is a safe bet. However, the furnishings of the hotel are extremely old and tired. The hotel lacks any atmosphere due to the... More

Location is great, but the rooms are outdated. The bed linens were treated by some kind of material that made it itchy (no bed bugs, I m sure). Rooms need total renovation and modernization. Food was so so

History buffs will enjoy staying in this first-class hotel next to the opera house and square that was the scene of Vietminh protests against French control shortly after the Japanese surrender in WWII. I included the hotel in my novel because of its excellent location. For the best prices and to avoid customary crowds, consider the time between Christmas and... More

After having seen previous reviews, I expected much less from this extremely well located Hilton. Although the building is not nice and rooms look a bit old, it remains a consistent option if you want to stay in Central Hanoi. Service quality in the Executive floor is highly personalized. There are two options for breakfast: a chinese restaurant, always packed,... More

We recently stayed two nights at the Hilton Hanoi and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The lobby is large, open and beautiful. The staff are very nice and helpful and speak very good English. Our room was large and the bathroom was very nice, containing granite throughout with a separate tub and shower. The breakfast included with the room was one... More

My husband was in Hanoi on business, myself for a holiday. Neither of us had been to Hanoi before and needed to rely on the expertise of the hotel staff and their knowledge of the local area to get around. The staff were always polite, helpful and attentive with excellent English skills. The rooms were luxurious and clean, breakfast catered... More

Look - I have to admit that my hotel,of choice when I'm in Hanoi would normally be the Metropole however I was not paying for this trip and so I had little choice. Regardless you will see I'm a bit of a Hilton stayer if you see my previous reviews. I have never stayed here before - although I did... More

Its Hilton..so no disappointments! But the USP has to be its location, right next to Hanoi Opera and within walking distance from Hoan Kiem lake and Old quarters. The food and ambience at Ba Mien restaurant was great too. They also have musical evenings in the open abr & lounge almost everyday. Nice gym divided into cardio and weights training... More

The hotel is good, perfect location, provides variety of good foods. Price is considerably high. Not all information shared by hotel staff such as on the transportation from and to airport. For soccer lovers, you cannot see any English Premier League soccer game on the TV in this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in an executive room which was spacious, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff were excellent. Air conditioning was not working in our first room but OK in the second (it is being refurbished). Located in the French Quarter it is a 15 minute walk round the lake to the hustle & bustle of...
