We used here as a base for our travels around North Vietnam and the staff were ever so helpful, allowing us to shower/hang out whilst we waited between trips to Sapa and Halong Bay, we were there three times despite only having paid for 1 night (we didn't actually stay overnight as we got the night train to Sapa). The... More

From the moment we walked through the door the service we received was exceptional, particulary from Tim but everyone greeted you as old friends. Handy location to the old quarter and the rooms were clean, spacious and for once the toilet and shower were separated, (a welcomed change from our usual Asian stays) Breakfast was included and you could order... This place was haven for my days in Hanoi. Tim, the receptionist was very helpful not only in hotel service but also a good informant with specific details on resto, travel, costs and etc! This is good place to stay for it's convenient to sightsee in the Hanoi old quarter. As a backpacker, it's a little pricy for $27-40. Lol... More

As many other reviewers will mention I am sure, this hotel's greatest asset are it's friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. They were always on hand to help, but without being overly keen. In particular I would like to thank The Hotel Manager, Tim, who even went so far as to invite me to play in the hotel's football team against... More

Having been in Hanoi two weeks prior to this stay and after reading the reviews, I thought I would give Tu Linh Palace a try. After a long day I arrived in Hanoi at about 11:00pm. The hotel provides pickup at the airport for $15 and I would definitely recommend this. Nice driver, nice car, and you don't have to... More

I stayed at this hotel during August 2014. The staff speak excellent English and are very warm and friendly. The manager Bui Taun (Tim) is professional and offers great advice about the sights and food in Hanoi. Since I was traveling alone, Tim's guidance and advice was exceptionally helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and are serviced daily. Furthermore, there... More

My encounter with the hotel starts at the airport where I was received and sent to the hotel through their arrangement in a simple and clean sedan, enjoying my view, relaxing and occasionally a chat with the driver. It's been great to be hosted at Tu Linh Palace. As in other reviews, Tim and the other staff are warm and... More

My boyfriend and I booked one night here on our arrival to Hanoi with a very vague plan of where we were going next. When we arrived the staff were so helpful and talked us through the options of going to halong bay. They booked us a trip and managed to get us a free upgrade for the boat which... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Tim who always greeted us by name, and we were able to easily book tours and train tickets through the hotel. Tim gave us plenty of sightseeing and restaurant suggestions as well as how to get there. The room was nice and... More
