Our stay was amazing, lovely welcome free room upgrade, got little map and got told best places to see, eat and drink. Told him we wanted to do a Halong bay cruise and he got us a free upgrade on that also! Had an issue with a coach ticket further down Vietnam and when we contacted him he fixed it... More

I visited the hotel in May of 2012 for my honeymoon, although the hotel itself is small and a little difficult to find, the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. They gave us a patient hearing whenever we had questions and especially gave us good advice when we wanted to book the cruise for HaLong Bay. Overall we stayed here... More

Staying at this hotel is an incredible experience. The staff was great and the property is magnificent. The Hotel staff was extremely helpful in planning our continuation of our trip around Hanoi. Without a doubt, when in Hanoi, we are staying at the Tu Linh Palace hotel.

Rated very high on TripAdvisor, but don't be fooled by the high ratings in thinking that you've found yourself a cheap palace. It's fair/good value for expensive Hanoi, but you get what you pay for- a small room with a slither of a non-opening window, with a fairly stagnant smelling, airless bathroom. It was fine- clean and everything, but is... More

Friendly little hotel with clean rooms and bedding. Breakfast isn't anything to write home about but has the basics to set you up for the day. The hotel can be a little noisy from the road, bury that's Hanoi for you. We stayed in the back set of rooms on the 5th level and the noise from the road didn't... More

When you enter the hotel, the atmosphere is from the beginning very friendly. Everybody asks how you are or is helpful. And the rooms and especially the bathrooms are bright and stylish. Also the breakfast is delicious. The small citymap from the hotel is very useful and easy to read. If you want to book something, people are competent and very... More

Arrived in Hanoi from Halong Bay tour having not booked anywhere to stay. Arrived Tu Linh's sister hotel (The Little Hanoi Hostel), and though there was no room, we were kindly shown to Tu Linh and given two twin rooms at a very reasonable $20 each. Rooms were clean, staff very accommodating and helpful, shower was very hot and extremely... More

Good spot with really friendly and helpful staff. Quinh was very helpful.hotel was clean and a bargain at that price. Location was ok but better areas in old town. Would recommend. Breakfast also nice and bedroom definitely of higher standard than 2 stars

From the moment your cab pulls up, to the moment you leave, the staff do all they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend emailing ahead and having the hotel arrange pickup at the airport, we flew in from Canada, found our taxi driver waiting at the airport doors with our name on a sign, and took... More

Stayed here end of June, level 5, reception were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very hot, air con was moderate, it never really got room down to temperature. Even on top floor fairly noisy, okay through the night but early morning street sounds and works started. Okay hotel for the price though, easy walking around old quarter. Breakfast wasn't provided... More
