A value hotel with 5 star service. Even before we arrived they were offering us airport transfers and excursions, at very reasonable cost. The staff could not be more helpful, it was like a family run business. Hotel undergoing some renovation, but our room was clean and fresh linen was provided every day. The included breakfast was great, especially now... More

We stayed twice in this hotel as we found it very good value. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We received an un requested upgrade which of course is always great. The location is perfect being close to the lake and Ma May/ TA Tien streets where it is really happening. We booked our trip to Sa Pa from... More

The rooms are clean rooms and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is good and the location is right in the centre, not even 5 minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake. Great value for money. I would recommend this hotel.

As with most of the good hotels and guesthouses and b&b's etc that you'll stay in in Vietnam it's the people that make it. We were only there for one night at the end of our trip but they were so helpful and amazing, helping us to tie up the end of our itinerary and telling us where things were,... More

We spent two nights in the hotel, the staff was very helpful, when we arrived around midnight they re-opened the reception for us. Their breakfast was OK, the rooms were clean and tidy, we received many useful info from the staff about the city, tours, sight in the city.

Great location, two blocks from Hoan Kiem Lake, in the Old Quarter and on one of the walking tour maps so you can't get lost! The staff were lovely and did everything possible to make our stay convenient. Emails were answered promptly. Pick up from the airport was requested by email and arranged by the hotel. The return transfer was... More

The Hanoi Amanda Hotel is a fairly basic hotel, but when you are only paying around £12 a night I don't think you can complain! The staff were very helpful, they let us stay in our room an extra night when we had to cancel a trip to Halong Bay (because of the recent typhoon), and the airport pick-up is... More

Stayed for 2 nights and everything was fine, the staff are lovely and very helpful and the hotel is peaceful and in a perfect location. I look forward to visiting again soon, if you do you should also arrange the hotel car for transport to and from the airport, it is cheaper than the taxis..

The hotel was recommended by a travel agency who arrange our tour for us. It is walking distance to a lot of eateries and the lake. Green tangerine is just next to it if you are looking for fusion fine dinning. Right outside the hotel is a lady selling chicken noodle soup and opposite is a lady selling fresh baguette... More

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.Stayed facing the road, and the noise was no problem for us.The room smelled a bit muff, but when u put aircon on it was fine. The only thing I can say is shop around if u want to do a tour before you book through the hotel.
