Very good hotel located right at the heart of the old quarter, and just a short walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Clean and well-decorated room with modern facilities, including a flat panel TV and a laptop. Good wifi reception. Room rate includes breakfast. Very nice staff.

Hanoi Amanda Hotel is in the centre of the Old Quarter, just a five minute walk away from the lake. The road where the hotel is found also has several restaurants and bars; we especially enjoyed the Indian when we ate there. However, Hanoi as a whole is a very loud and manic city, so it can be quit difficult... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago, Amanda was perfect hotel for our stay. we visited Hanoi for a week, and went on the Halong Bay excursion which was booked through the hotel which I highly recommend. We were allowed to keep our luggage there for no extra cost whilst we were on our Halong Bay trip. Hotel is nice and... More

We are 22 year olds traveling as friends. This was a good budget hotel. The standard of customer service was high (there was always someone at the front desk, they were very eager to help with any request) and the room was clean and a decent size. They have a large cleaning staff that comes in every day. 4 women... More

Closely located to West Lake this hotel is in a great spot for a stay in Hanoi. We organised our transfer through the hotel which was there waiting as soon as we arrived. We had 2 separate stays here either side of a trip to Halong Bay, the first room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the second was a... More

My friends and I were traveling to the north of Vietnam for a week and hadn't set our minds on anything, so it was pretty much a go with the flow kind of trip. We booked two rooms at Amanda Hanoi based on tripadvisor's reviews and were not disappointed. We got to the hotel at around 10pm, exhausted, and were... More

A good base to visit the old quarter and Hanoi: friendly staff who will give you a map with what can be seen in Hanoi. Rooms are large, quiet and equipped with all the necessary amenities although a bit dated.

Great location, lovely reception area; had a restaurant which looked decent although we didn't eat there. The rooms were spacious and well cleaned, although a bit stuffy as there were no windows. The staff were very helpful though they were almost always trying to sell their services in-between. BEST THING: If you're leaving Hanoi later in the day and are... More
