We really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Hibiscus. It is located in the heart of the Old Quarter. The best part about this hotel has got to be Peter. As soon as we got to the hotel, he brought out a map of Hanoi and showed us the places nearby, where to eat, etc. I'd really recommend Hanoi Hibiscus if... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hibiscus. Peter from the reception organised our Trips to Sapa and Halong Bay. We were really happy about those trips. We also left our big bags in the Hotel while we were away which was really comfortable. And also the breakfast is a reason to stay at Hotel Hibiscus. Rooms a big and... More

Situated in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi. Good walking distance to Hao Lo Prison and Water Puppet Theatre. Peter, the owner, is amazing, the minute we got there he laid everything that we needed to know on a map and how not to get ripped off and reliable taxis to take ! As I was sick a... More

Peter the owner is by far one of the best and most humble of people I've encountered on my trip. He did absolutely everything in his power to make sure we were taken care of in and outside of the hotel. The hotel itself is perfectly located in oldtown. Close to a lot of site attractions and central square which... More

Peter, the manager of the hotel is a friendly guy who does more than what he is supposed to. He greets customers with a smile every time and recommended us good visiting and dining spots around the Old Quarter which was useful for us to plan our days in Hanoi. We booked a superior room and got upgraded to a... More

The Hibiscus Hotel is in Hanoi's vibrant old town...moments from the Cathedral. There are bars, cafes and restaurants and shopping all within moments of the hotel. We stayed in the deluxe room, which was nice and big, with a comfy bed, large bathroom, satellite tv and a balcony which overlooked the hustle and bustle of the old town. Peter, the... More

This is a descent, relatively cheap hotel near the Cathedral in the Old Quarter. I stayed there for about two months when I was on a working trip in Hanoi. The hotel is fairly small and is located on an alley way. This means it's a little quieter than staying on one of the main roads (but still pack your... More

The host Peter provided very good service. Me and my friends arrived very late at night but the host stayed until late to welcome us. Also, they helped us to bring our luggage in from the taxi even though it was raining heavily outside. Breakfast, which was included, was good and of many varieties. Lastly, I had accidentally left some... More

My friend and I flew from Saigon and arrived late in Hanoi around 2am. We pre-arranged for a pick-up days before but there was none. Fine. Upon arriving, we were showed to our rooms at the topmost floor. The hostel has no elevator so we had to climb about 5-6 flights of stairs. Fine. The room we booked, which they... More
