Nice rooms, clean sheets, fast wifi, lots of cable channels, super friendly and helpful staff. These are some of the best reasons to stay in this hotel. It's location is also very good as it's near a lot of places to eat, stores to buy souvenirs from and some tourist attractions as well. It's a really good budget hotel. But,... More

Came to this hotel after checking out especen that only had one room that we did not like. This one at $22 a night seemed like a good value. The room is not very big but the bed was very comfy and everything worked. The best part is this was the first room in Vietnam with budget rates that had... More

We stayed here two nights( two couples traveling together). Paid $22 for a front room, $20USD for a backside room. Both were nice, clean, fresh white linens, clean mini fridge, comfortable bed (a rare thing in Vietnam for 20 bucks). Staff was very professional. Online rates are pricier than walk in rates though. We were able to bargain on the... More

We stayed at Hibiscus one night after staying two nights at the next door backpackers hostel (not worth it). At Hibiscus we paid 20$ (400.000 dong/ night) but we could have bargain a bit more. The room was clean, quite spacious. Bathroom fine with warm water. A/C working. What made the difference was the breakfast (included) which was quite big:... More

Our experience in Hanoi was just outstanding! It's a very charming city where the lifestyle is laid back and the people are wonderful. Hanoi Hibiscus started our trip the ideal way, with attentive Mr. Ha tending to our every need. He was consistently there, going above and beyond his call of duty, just to make sure we were happy and... More

Dear all, Me and my cousin went to Hanoi for the weekend. We booked the hotel in advance and due to the plane delay, we arrived quite late (minight). We booked Hibiscus for 2 nights. The person welcoming us first announced that the room had a problem and that we couldn't sleep in the hotel, so he took us to... More

We first came to the Hibiscus after taking a tour of nearby Sapa, organised by Lily, the manager who also works across the street at the Green Mango Tours portion of the hotel. The tour was fantastic (both as an experience and in value), and if you are planning any local tours, I would highly recommend booking them through Lily,... More

I first met Lily at Green Mango Travel (across the road from Hibiscus) to schedule a couple of tours and travel arrangements across the country (and another into Laos). Let me say, first, that Lily is amazing and will help you out with ANY need you have in Vietnam, and particularly local areas like Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Ha Long... More

We spent some time in this hotel and were very happy with the room and the staff. In a very nice car free street with lots of shops and restaurants, but just outside the most busy streets of the area, without the constant horns of the scooters. Especially convenient was the fact that we could leave our big luggage here... More

My sister and I stayed in Hanoi for 5 days (July 2013) and Hanoi Hibiscus Hotel was our home away from home. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were bigger than we've had elsewhere, were western, and soap, toothbrushes etc. we're all provided. Staff were amazing and friendly, being the highlight of our stay and were always... More
