I stayed with them after I broke my arm. They were helpful & kind. Helped me dress, got me food, made calls as I was on my own. Room clean, comfortable, quiet & had everything a weary stressed traveller could use. Thank you Real Vietnam Hotel

We didn't choose this hotel ourselves, we stayed 1 night there because our hotel didn't have any room left and they took us here. Apparently, the only room available was the worst room we have ever had in our whole trip in Asia. It was room 104 on the ground floor, behind reception. This room is dirty, shabby, noisy with... The service was unbelievable and the family who owns it would do anything to satisfy us during our stay. We stayed for two nights with free breakfast that was delicious (many options to chose from). We booked our Halong Bay cruise and bus to Hoi An through the hotel and we were extremely happy. They even gave us a room... More

Great little hotel. Delicious breakfast included and friendly family atmosphere. We booked tours to halong bay through front desk. Very helpful and speak english well. Value for money and central location.

The hotel itself was okay, not so good, not so bad. What you would expect But...the service is not that good. I booked an airport pickup because my arrival in Hanoi was around midnight, and I’d read not-so-good stories about taxi drivers ripping tourists off, especially at night. I was in the arrival area but nobody was there holding a... More

We stayed for four night here, had room 404 with balcony. The room was spacy, clean and balcony was perfect with a table and seat. In the crazy noisy city of hanoi was this a quit place to stay. Wifi worked very well in the room. Staff was at first a bit shy and later they were really friendly. On... More

We stayed 5 nights in total and arranged SaPa and HaLong bay trips in between, which we booked through the hotel (assuring that you won't end up on a crappy boat). We were very happy with the airport pickup ($15).. even better, when we returned from our SaPa trip, mr. Duong came to pick us up at 4:30 in the... More

Good standard basic hotel. Staff really friendly. Helped with bookings for trips and maps on how to get around. The location is ideal for street food and very close to markets and temple on the lake. Would recommend for backpackers.

I am actually shocked by all of the good reviews for this hotel. Yes, it is cheap, but so are most of the surrounding guesthouses. I am not even usually a complainer... I am a backpacker used to very mediocre sleeping arrangements. While we were staying here we were moved 4 times. The first time the room smelled so badly... More

We are backpackers & this accomodation was perfect! Cheap & cheerful with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was included for the price which made the accomodation a bargain. The staff there were all lovely and gave us maps/directions daily, they printed off our travel documents for our next flight & we're always helpful. There are two computers in the... More
