I stayed here at the end of my trip around South East Asia and for the purpose of travelling to Halong Bay. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights before my cruise trip and 1 night after. The staff member Mr Tin could not have been more helpful. He arranged a city tour for me, taxis and lots more!... More

Instead of a hostel we booked this hotel. First few nights we stayed there with the three of us in one room. Absolutely great. Big rooms, balcony, fridge and super friendly staff. The week after we also stayed there with The two of us and still perfect. They have a lift, easy with the backpacks, and eventhough its across the... More

My husband and I have not been to a worst hotel than this one. To begin with, the hotel lobby heating system is not turned on so the hotel staff are in their winter attire indoors. When I asked about the heating , I was told that the area was too big to warm up, which obviously is utter rubbish,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a G Adventures tour before and after Ha Long Bay. This place is run down and noisy. Be sure to get a room at the back. The cleaning staff were champing at the bit to get in our room. They really push for an early checkout. We got... More

We stayed for 3 days. Very good location, near to good street stalls and restaurants, massage, and 10 mins to the famous lake. Breakfast was average; bread, noodle and fried rice, fruits and etc. Room is in need of renovation and upgrade. They provide a desktop computer in each room , but I trust it doesn't add value as guests... More

Stayed 3 nights, 1 night before Halong Bay and 2 nights after. We had a pleasant surprise on Christmas Eve after our Tam Coc Day trip, hotel invite us for a free buffet celebration dinner with wine and good spread of food. We had 3 rooms in total, 2 rooms faced the pub, but we had no problem sleeping as... More

Stayed here for two nights, before and after my Halong bay trip. Big and clean rooms in at a midrange price. Got a room with a balcony facing the street. The backpackers hostel down the street has a pub crawl almost every night and the end up at the opposite bar from this hotel. So be aware that it is... More

This hotel is in a great section of the old Quarter. It is clean, the staff provide good service, the rooms are well equipped. BUT and this is the BIGGEST BUT you can get. This hotel is directly opposite the biggest and loudest nightclub in Ha Noi. A new nightclub called "Hair of the Dog Hanoi" (check it on YouTube)... More
