Stayed there for 3 nights just before the tet festival. Great rooms, very clean with modern interieur. Free breakfast (pancakes/fried noodles/dumplings or other alternatives). We paid about 5-6euro per person per night, which is more than acceptable. Apart from the free breakfast we even got an airport pick up for free, which would have been around 14dollar if we has... I stayed at the Little Hanoi Hostel 2 for a couple of nights. I arranged an airport pick-up in advance, which went very smoothly, even though my flight arrived after midnight. Same price as a cab and you get to shed the hassle of negotiating and the worry of rigged meters. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff... More

This is our first visit to Hanoi. I booked a twin room and arranged a pick up at the airport by corresponding with Mr. Toan through the Internet months in advance. Many changes were made before our arrival and Mr. Toan was excellent in his replies. We were met by a courteous driver who took us through the Old Quarter... More

I reserved a room (based on Trip Advisor reviews) at the Little Hanoi Hostel 2 via their website and an airport pick up, all of which was confirmed over email. Upon arrival in Hanoi (after travelling for about 20 hours via Bangkok from the UK) there was no-one to meet me at the airport, despite the fact I had given... More

I was a little worried when I was lead down a small alley to get to the hostel. The lobby was very simple, but the staff was wonderful. Tam was friendly, and helpful. Although we didn't do a tour with the hostel, I would recommend considering it, because all the people who did tours arranged by Tam, came back very... More

After having a negative experience a few days earlier at a different budget hotel, we moved here based on the location (wanted to see the lake). Upon arrival the workers were very friendly, professional, and not too pushy with tours. They helped us arrange overnight train tickets for the following day which was great! The highlight? He noticed it was... More

Probably, the staff from the little Hanoi hostel 2 are the most helpful and nicest we have come across in our round the world trip so far. They informed us about taxis and how much we should be paying. We book a tour to Sapa with them but we wanted to do some changes and they were very flexible and... More

A warm welcome greet as soon as we arrived especially the the cold weather (Jan), serve us with a warm Vietnamese coffee, watermelon and banana. Is a best choice for Hanoi stay. Good location near to many landmarks such as temple of jade mountain, old quarter and St. Joseph's Cathedral just by walk. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, and the most important thing those helpful and friendly staff whom greeting us with a big smile and recommended us where to go and eat in hanoi and... More
