Tony is the owner of this so called hotel, which is actually rather a hostel. I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in a room with one window opening into the corridor and one window opening into the staircase. It's not necessarily nice when you are on the first floor and can hear everything from inside the hotel, but... More

The location is great and the staff were exceptional! It is my sister and I first time travelling and have found te staff at the hotel to be so helpful! Helped us book tours, trains and place to stay going forward! Room was very clean, seperate shower with great pressure and hot water! We would definitely come back and stay... More

When we got to the hostel, the price was different to the website we looked on. Their reply was, everyone pays the same! Also, the 'free' breakfast (which the young guy said they pay!!) was not free!!. It advertises as free on other booking sites. But fresh roll, omelette and a banana was only 15,000 VND. Because the rooms were... More

You can choose better in the old quarter!! The owner is NOT nice, and the place is not clean, it's all very very DIFFERENT from the photos!! The bed is also very unconfortable. Don't give money to this people, they don't deserve this!!

We booked here for one night, but on internet we selected the wrong night. We arriver here in the morning at 8 o'clock and a boy took us in the room: it was NOT like the photos, it was dirty, the bed was very unconfortable. Then at 12 o'clock the owner said we had to check out, and we where... More

Tony's felt like it was run by that guy in college who spends all his time sleeping, rather then going to class. The room is spacious, but kind of dirty and really old. The walls were mouldy and the bathroom had the same feeling as the one in that Saw movie, where the guy has to remove his leg. The... More

Very disappointed with this 'hotel'. Our bed sheets were not clean- grit and hairs scattered in various places. They also had a few holes in which wasn't great. Dirty towel on the floor in front of the bathroom door acting as a mat wasn't pleasant. Bathroom wasn't very clean either and the hot water ran out after one shower. Air... More

$10 per night, double room, AC, TV, ensuite. A comfy nights sleep, the man at the desk will give you a map and tell you some of the best places to eat and drink. Decent location in Hanoi, an ancient TV, an old weak shower and the room in general has some wear and tear. But it's clean and a... More

We did not stay here. We went there to have a look at the rooms because we noticed that the rooms in budgethotels in Hanoi are not clean or have no windows. If you compare with rest of Vietnam, the budgetrooms are poor. We found this hotel on a famous website for $12. At the hotel they asked us$16 for... More

Some of the nicest staff we've met in 3 months travelling. Tony and his family are pleasant and professional. The rooms (we were 2nd floor double en suite air con) are some of the cheapest you'll find in Old Town, but are damp and dark. However everything works and beds are comfy, and for a couple of nights it's fine!... More
