Good location in the Old Quarter, friendly staff and very value for money! Location It's nestled in a small maze of alleys which will take some time navigating to find the hotel. You might get lost trying to find it, especially if it's your first time in Hanoi. Location is in the heart of the Old Quarter near the Lake... More

The location of this hotel is both a blessing and a curse. It is within easy walking distance to all the central areas, so we had a great time shopping and trying foods, but don't expect to sleep in. There are locals going by on bicycles using an intercom system to sell steamed rice right up til midnight everynight, and... More

Great location in the central of old quarter, walking distance to main attractions and streets. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The staffs is totally awesome and made us feel as if we were staying with a friend. Service is simple and genuine yet sufficient and unpretenious. Hosts is very generous about sharing with us what to do in hanoi... More

The location was central in the old quarter but also close to the main atractions. The shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable, with an excellent design. We stayed there before going to halong bay and at our return, and would absolutely come back if we go to hanoi again. It was a little bit over our budget, but... More

Sans Souci is located in the heart of the old town just to the side of the lake, near the Cathedral. It has been built above an old shop in a bustling, but car-free side street, close to many restaurants and bars and amongst a number of backpacker places. We stayed on the first floor (there are 6 or 7... More

We stayed for 10 nights in a balcony room. The staffs were uber friendly and helpful. Room arrangement and decoration wasn't the best but it was comfortable enough. Room service didn't change our bedsheets until we asked them to. Very good location, 2 minute walk to the church. And plenty of good food right outside. Make sure to check out... More

Sans Souchi IV is located in a small knot of streets home to several hotels, bars and tour companies. The young staff are super friendly, making up for the lack of English that some staff have, for example, they were willing to get up and make breakfast early when we needed to leave early. On our second day the water... More

This hotel has the perfect location to stay in Hanoi. It is close to everything that I needed to go to. The famous authentic Pho restaurant, Hoan Kiem lake, the city centre... are just around the corner. The room was big and comfortable although staying on level 3,4 is less noise than the higher level. The staff was extremely helpful... More

There's a certain charm to Hanoi's classic 'tube houses,' built deep, tall and skinny to save on taxes (levied according to a building's width at street level). It's inconvenient, however, when a hotel room is only 3 meters wide. For a night or two, budget travellers may delight in the Sans Souci IV and its vibrant, backpacker-friendly neighborhood. We were... More

Just wanted to submit my experience about this hotel. I checked in on 3 Jan, and was told that my room is not available as the hotel is full even though the hotel was still listed with available rooms on Agoda & Expedia. When pressed for reason why, the receptionist told me there's a electricity problem in the room I... More
