My partner and I arrived at the Hanoi 'Grand' Hotel and by doing so had rudely interrupted the staff members Facebook session - good start. Upon being shown our room, we were overcome by a foul smell of mould throughout one of their 'apartment suites'. To be fair, they were good enough to upgrade us free of charge to their... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Vietnam. We were really surprised by the size of our room it was massive, there are two large rooms per floor. It is situated in the heart of the old quarter. Easy walking to anywhere or just jump in a taxi. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast... More

Definitely, this is not a top 100 hotels in tripadvisor but after staying in this place, it definitely made me feel like 'HOW CAN THIS NOT BE IN THE TOP 10'? Though it is a 3 star hotel, it's services and facilities were really beyond expectations. Day 1, the hotel arranged shuttle bus transfer for us from airport to hotel... More

Not sure of the actual cost, as we were moved here from the sister hotel Hanoi Eclipse (which is smaller and has cheaper room rates) but Hanoi Grand has beautiful, large and clean rooms with everything you need. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great! Laundry is good (although takes a while) - many places we've used in... More

I stayed in the hotel for 4 weeks. The room was ok, basically clean but the bathroom was not good. The shower was leaking through the whole room and there was allways a bad smell inside. Sometimes you would need to tell the cleaning lady how to do the cleaning and to change the sheeds. Everywhere are little ants and... More

Comfortable, affordable, good location, pleasant staff, breakfast included. Had to show the cook how to make an omelette but otherwise nothing to complain about. I wanted a late check-out, but decided against it since it was going to cost almost as much a full night stay. Nonetheless, I'll be back again.

We booked 3 nights at this hotel and the service (and staff) were excellent. The room was very comfortable for a family of 4. The value for money was outstanding and our every request was met with enthusiasm and a smile. Staff got us tickets to the Water Puppet theatre and we needed a power adaptor to charge our appliances... More

We spent three nights at this hotel before moving to another place in Hanoi. The location in the heart of the Old Town is great and the staff tries really hard, but there were some complications. On arrival we were not given the room we had booked (with balcony) but another one without any natural light. We pointed the mistake... More

We spent a little over a week at the Hanoi Grand Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The price was incredibly reasonable. The friendly staff organised our airport transfers for us, booked our Halong Bay trip with incredibly short notice and did everything that they could to make us comfortable during our time in Hanoi. The room was really nice... More
