Now known as Aquarius hotel. Good points: Cheap! The location is good within 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Staff are helpful and breakfast is decent. Not so good points: 6 floors and no elevators! Bathrooms are also in dire need of renovation, the water pipes were loud all night, no phone socket and the only electric sockets were hidden... More

Stayed almost 3 weeks in Aquarius Hanoi Hotel, they've changed their name. Rooms are spacious and comfortable especially the family room. The big/family rooms are all facing the street side and because the windows have single glass and don't close properly, the noise! There is now some big construction going on and that went on even after 23:00. The rooms... More

Was a good hotel, big room, good bed, quiet, ac, ok wifi and friendly, English speaking staff. Bathroom was old and in need of a make over. Was clean though. Breakfast was good, you can choose from the menu and there is a little buffet. Close to the Cathedral and many small restaurants. Had a pleasant stay and will go... More

For 30 USD, it is just the perfect place to stay. Impeccable rooms, very gentle and caring staff. The breakfast could be improved, but overall wonderful stay. To top it off, the location is perfect at the heart of the old town. Bravo !

This is my first time writing a review for this hotel after staying there for almost a year on a monthly 4 nights basis. Location was perfect away from the maddening crowd of Hanoi Old Quarter yet within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and many eateries and restaurants. This hotel is only about 5-7 minutes walk to the minibus... More

What really stood out for this hotel was the excellence of their service – all the staff were constantly ready with their smiles and advice, extremely polite, and did their best to accede to our requests whenever possible. They allowed us to deposit our luggage at the hotel without charge when we were away at Halong Bay and Sapa. The... More
