Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2014. The location is perfect. Step out the door and you're in the middle of the Old Quater. The bedroom had everything we needed and was clean. No problem with noise at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is poor- not really worth the trip to the top floor although at least... More

Hotel is located in a great location in Hanoi. The rooms are clean... But if you are only using a room to shower... Not so much. Bed is comfortable, go elsewhere for breakfast. There are many great spots near by!

We have night stop-over at Hanoi in Asian Ruby Hotel provided by Vietnam Airlines. Nice and clean hotel in the very centre of the city. The breakfast serves from 6 am what is very convenient before leaving for the airport. At the reception it's possible to exchange money.

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a group tour. Traffic is madness outside the front door. Walking distance to lake. Rooms was clean and tidy. Modern bathroom. Room was quiet. Flatscreen tv. Breakfast was included in the morning. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. I would stay again.

It's located in the middle of an extremely busy and dangerous (lots of traffic) area, the rooms smelled of mold and mildew, they were extremely cold and the heat was not working, the bed sheets were dirty, the foul smells from the street seeped into the room, and the food in the restaurant was terrible. On a positive note, the... More

Just round the corner from the lake, Old Quarter on the doorstep. Room itself far quieter than we thought it would be, maybe we were lucky looking out over the roofs at the back. Hotel used by tourgroups and much used to storing luggage, with courtesy room on return from trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. Good base for a... More

I stayed here for a few nights with a Contiki tour. Maybe I was on a high because the tour was so amazing, but I enjoyed our brief stay here. Granted, many of the rooms did not have windows (not an uncommon theme in Vietnamese hotels given the architecture of the buildings), but it was a pleasant stay. My room... More

I started a month in Vietnam by spending 5 nights at the Asian Ruby. They are friendly, accommodating and keen to help. The rooms are clean and adequate for travel needs. The shower was hot! Breakfast also good - plenty of choice. I enjoyed my time here, particularly the fabulous location in the heart of the old town - a... More

This was our first hotel on a group travel holiday through Vietnam. Rooms are quite basic and ours had a window which overlooked a tiny private courtyard and nothing else. Beds were comfortable and linen was ok. There is kettle in the room but no where to plug it in. The public area is often very congested with group luggage... More

The hotel is located in the middle of the old quarter. Great nightlife and restaurants right outside the door. Rooms are clean and large, with some having balconies. Breakfast was OK. The staff were very friendly and accommodating
