Arrived at 4 am in the morning. The poor guy greeting me was friendly and got me sorted as I had to wait til 10 to check in and get a bed. Back bar easy to chill out in and hilarious / meaningful reads on the graffitied wall/ roof/ bathrooms / anywhere . Reception bathroom also convenient. 4 computers to... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and booked the ha long bay tour through them. The tour was incredible, and the hostel was a great place to meet other travelers. Staff super friendly and helpful, free beer at night, clean rooms and a good spot all together. Highly recommended

Could not have asked for a better trip through the Ha Long bay. 2nights, 3 days and was an exceptional time. The food was brilliant and there was a lot of it, the accommodation was perfect, the boat was even better and the itinerary was great. Overall, we had a really good trip with great company! I highly recommend this... More

When we first arrived in Vietnam we were both ill and felt awful (me and my friend are both girls, aged 19) - the hostel car came and picked us up from the airport, already waiting when we arrived and took us straight there. Despite the fact that we arrived early in the morning they had a room ready for... More

For only $5 a night it is an absolute bargain, I'd been travelling around China for a month beforehand and this was certainly the best hostel in terms of value and atmosphere. The free beer is a good idea but is the worst beer you will ever taste, however it is a great idea to meet people and when a... More

This was my first stop in Vietnam and we only planned to stay for 3 nights... Ended up being 11 days! The hostel is clean and the beds arent too uncomfortable, the shower was great and the washroom was only shared with the people in your doom/floor, so youre not sharing with the whole building! The staff are really friendly... More

Not to bad, found abit pricey for what was involved there. Stayed two nights when trying to book a third the staff basically said nope we are full and sent me on my way, didn't make any effort to help out in finding new accommodation. Ah it's a place to go hang out with other backpackers, the pub crawls fun.

Stayed here with a couple of friends. Great location within walking distance of lots of interesting parts of hanoi! Our room was clean, though we did find a couple of roaches. Free breakfast and very reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff too. We also booked a 1 night 'party cruise' to ha long bay through them ($87 US). It was... More

Really cheap hostel in the old center of Hanoi. You can enjoy the free beer from 7:00 to 8:00 every night. Good moment to meet the other Backpackers! Rooms and bathrooms are clean, but the commun room is a bit dirty. Small breakfast included. Staff really nice and helpful.

This hostel is a great place to meet people. The rooms are cheap and good and come with a locker. The staff are mostly helpful and the location is great. The hostel makes everyone leave the hostel bar pretty early (maybe around 10 or 11) so if you want to sleep you should be fine and if you want to... More
