This must be the most helpful and kind staff you'll ever find in any hotel. They took care of us around the clock and even did the thinking for us it seems! Linger in the lobby for 20 seconds and they'll bring you delicious lotus tea. Look lost and they'll come find you and get you in your way. Hey... More

Probably the best Hotel of its class in the Old Quarter. The staff will do anything to help you enjoy your stay. We were upgraded to a penthouse suite after a bad nights sleep caused by a guest smoking in one of the rooms and setting off the fire alarms. The Skyline bar on the rooftop gives great views of... The staff fell all over themselves to make your stay a memorable one. The room was luxurious, with a lovely bath and comfortable bed. The wifi worked great, and the breakfast was excellent. Omelets to order. It's located in the old quarter, so this lovely hotel was juxtaposed against the chaos of the women on the street selling vegetables. It's... More

A very interesting place to stay mainly because every member of the hotel staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. This doesn’t happen too often as I have found out during my travel through 70 countries. Since my first visit to Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City, in March 2014, people at home, Canada, have said: “Why are you going back to... More

The room was great. An on suite shower room and no noise from the central street below. Staff were very attentive and the location was second to none. The breakfast was particularly good and worth getting up for.

We decided to blow our mid range budget and stay in an expensive hotel for our first few nights in Vietnam after a long flight. The hotel was expensive compared to others in the are, but provided a luxury stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful with amazing showers, and all immaculately clean. The breakfast was... More

Seriously, you will not be disappointed! Almost at the end of our trip around Vietnam we drove into Hanoi central amongst street vendors, ladies balancing baskets of fruit on their shoulders, a gaggle of scooters, pushbikes hauling blossom trees and rickshaws hauling tourists. Hustle, bustle, weave, brake, duck, dive.....and then AHH! The Hotel Tirant with its sparking chandeliers and welcoming... More

If wanting to stay in the old quarter of Hanoi this is absolutely the place to stay! The porters are perfectly attentive, check in a pleasure (lovely cold flannel & welcome drink!) & rooms were clean, large & homely. We stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon in Vietnam - the location is absolutely amazing, it is right... More

We had a decent stay here. Good location and the rooms were above average. What soured the trip was the threatening emails I received when arriving home from my holiday. They undercharged us by $60. This was only recognised after we had checked out. I received an email asking for me to email my credit card details which I am... More

We (6 pax 3 rooms) checked into this hotel on Xmas eve AM and first impressions were, how the heck did this hotel get here in downtown Hanoi. What a great hotel though even from the outside and even better once we got inside, helped in by a group of porters. Check-in didn't take long and we took turns using... More
