2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The pros: good location, good price, breakfast included, friendly staff, good wifi. The big cons: - In a 6th floor room the endless street noise and honking was very audible. Bring earplugs! - The bed is rock hard, to the point of being painful. - Construction on the 8th - 10th floor means no pool or bar access. They should... More

Located in the Old Quarter, it is a good starting point to explore the sights and sounds of Hanoi. The staff are warm and helpful. The buffet breakfast was quite satisfying. However, cleanliness was a bit of a let-down (my companion found a toenail and some stains on the blanket), and the furnishings were slightly dated. Unfortunately, there was also... More

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and it was great and better than we expected. Except that the hotel was stucked between 2 busy streets at the Old Quarters, it is within short walking distance to good food, coffee places and the lake. The hotel staff was extremely professional and friendly. They answered to all our queries and even... More

We began our trip to Vietnam with a stay at Tirant Hotel in Hanoi. When we first arrived, we had no itinerary. Upon checking in, the hotel's custom service representative met with us and helped us plan the rest of our trip. She arranged a 2night cruise in Halong Bay and a two day, one night stay in the area... More

I stayed in this hotel and at the Golden Lotus Luxury Hotel which also has a great location. This hotel seems more modern and the rooms are nicer than the 'Lotus'. However, I didn't like this hotel's location as much as the other--there was more traffic, the streets were very narrow and the motorcycles more difficult to navigate. Other reviewers... More

Large rooms with BIG beds. Excellent breakfast buffet with Asian and Western choices. Excellent coffee. The service was top notch. Noisy construction is going on next door (the country's economy is booming) and we asked to move, our wish was granted with no problem. Location was in the heart of the old quarter and we enjoyed strolling the streets. Pool... More

I made the original booking with some fears about it being only a 3 star hotel. My wife and I wanted to stay in/close to the Old Quarter but also have access to a swimming pool. The rooms were above expectation but what impressed most was the service from the front desk. We discovered our travel agent had messed up... More

Excellent location in the Old Quarter. Our room was very comfortable, nice large bed, desk with computer, bathrobes and plenty of toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was lovely. when we left, I stupidly left my jacket behind and did not realise until 2 days later: thanks to... More

Perfectly located north of 'Turtle Lake' in the Old Quarter, rooms are nice - clean with tv and computer. Breakfast was good. Staff were really helpful. Would highly recommend. Only downside is they are currently renovating the top rooms so it was a bit noisy and the roof bar was closed. Gym is also very basic.

Hospitality that outshines the rest. Firstly, the tea they serve you in the lobby is heaven. Liquid heaven. If there was one thing in the whole of Vietnam I could take home with me, it would be the tea. Bella, the customer service manager, was without a doubt, the most professional, kindest, and considerate hotel employee I have ever encountered.... More
