If wanting to stay in the old quarter of Hanoi this is absolutely the place to stay! The porters are perfectly attentive, check in a pleasure (lovely cold flannel & welcome drink!) & rooms were clean, large & homely. We stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon in Vietnam - the location is absolutely amazing, it is right... More

We had a decent stay here. Good location and the rooms were above average. What soured the trip was the threatening emails I received when arriving home from my holiday. They undercharged us by $60. This was only recognised after we had checked out. I received an email asking for me to email my credit card details which I am... More

We (6 pax 3 rooms) checked into this hotel on Xmas eve AM and first impressions were, how the heck did this hotel get here in downtown Hanoi. What a great hotel though even from the outside and even better once we got inside, helped in by a group of porters. Check-in didn't take long and we took turns using... More

The hotel is nice. It has potential. The lobby has a beautiful arrangement of lilies which give a lovely fragrance. The rooms are clean and in good condition and the service was pretty good but I think the hotel just lacks the polish of a 4 star hotel by international standards. I have no complaints as such but if you're... More

We stayed there for 3 days . We could not fault the rooms except for the hard pillows. The staff were very good and professional. The location is good for shopping and close to all the major landmarks. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were many choices. The only issue we had was with the Christmas gala dinner. We... We found the hotel to be really comfortable, with great staff and in a convenient location. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to make use of the rooftop pool but instead enjoyed the amazing view from the new rooftop bar and restaurant. An added bonus was the staff up there. Paul and his assistant Tow (which I'm sure... More

Stayed here for two separate nights in different rooms, staff service was fantastic, huge bed in our first room and we were upgraded to a suite for the second room, breakfast was delicious. Only negative was beds were super hard which is I think normal but when combined with horrible pillows too it made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. We... More

The staff were amazing (especially Bella) She helped us book a couple of day trips, greeted us warmly and always asked how we were. The breakfast buffet was so good! Loved the coffee with condensed milk :) The restaurant by the lobby was really good too. I am including pictures. They just finished rennovations on the rooftop which has an... More

The hotel is located perfectly if you plan to explore the Old Quarters. While the entire area is full of hustle and bustle you'd expect from being in the heart of the city, the street the hotel is on is surprisingly quiet. The staff is very personable and attentive, providing maps, sightseeing advice, and money changing. Free wifi, although the... More

The hotel was located right in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi. There was plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were all very friendly. I asked for a knife to cut some guava I had bought, and the reception staff brought one almost immediately to my room after my request. When... More
