This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were extremely spacious, including the ensuite and very clean - the bed was the biggest I have ever seen, as well as being very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the central courtyard bar area and dining area was very beautiful and relaxing, especially at night. The hotel is very centrally... More

This hotel is central in the old quarter of Hanoi. We had one of the suites on the top floor that offered fantastic views out across to the Opera House. Choose a room that looks out to the Opera house. Otherwise you could be left looking inwards to the centre of the hotel. The beds are great...that is if you... More

We really enjoyed our stay there! It's a lovely hotel with very stylish and comfortable rooms. Good location to easily walk to many interesting places to get a true local feel of things. Some rooms which face the street can be noisy with all the honking down below but for some reason it didn't bother us. I think it's because... More

Comfortable rooms well equipped and fantastic beds. Friendly heplful staff who seem genuinely to care and always ready to go the extra mile. Breakfast was good and the bar and central courtyard bar area good to relax and sample a beer.... Or the absinthe if you are feeling adventurous

It was unbelievably hot and humid the couple of days we had in Hanoi recently but the hotel was so well located that every few hours we could pop back and quickly freshen up. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite overlooking the Opera House so our experience was sensational and for us it naturally offered excellent value.... More

One of Hanoi's newest hotels. Accor corporate philosophy gets a "bohemian" makeover which mostly works. Its not excactly "boutique" (how can a hotel this size be) but then its not run of the mill business either. Good sized well furnished rooms, high and wide beds, wifi, great bathrooms (except no bath, but then who needs one in Hanoi). Most rooms... More

Operatic Glamour in the Heart of Hanoi: Hotel de l'Opera offers travellers a sophisticated break near the iconic Hanoi Opera House. As soon as you arrive you can't fail to be won over by the magic of the setting and the theatrical interior, filled with rich shades, silk drapes and flamboyantly coloured furniture. The same decadence runs through the 107 rooms and suites that combine 21st Century comfort with French sophistication and grand decor.
