The room is clean, but don't look for any ambience for that price. When I first got into the elevator, there were dirty dishes left in the elevator. When I returned from lunch, and entered the elevator, there were dirty linens left in the elevator. Unsightly. When I was having breakfast this morning, the staff was sweeping the floor next... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, telling me all the sights to see in Hanoi and booking tours/transportation. The room was very good as well, very clean and comfy bed. The breakfast was simple but nice. I paid 20US a night which is a fantastic price for this great... More

This hotel is located between the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The forniture and the atmosphere are dated but for a little price you can find big and clean rooms with bathrooms provided with hot water, soap and towels. Breakfast is not various but it is very plentiful

I paid $22 for a night here and found out later, there are cleaner and better hotels for the same price. My friend booked this hotel for me so I trusted her, but I wish I looked for my own hotel. When I returned from my trip in Halong Bay, I decided, I cannot stay a 3rd night here, I... More

We spent 4 nights here in August and found it to be a good little hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the position meant we could walk to the lake easily. The hotel organised an airport pickup for us and everything went like clockwork. There were a few small "imperfections" with the hotel, but for the price... More

I love this hotel. It's cheap but safe. The staff was so helpful and warm. They made every attempt to make our family feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. The choices at the buffet were beyond our expectations. All together this makes the hotel a really excellent value for money hotel to stay in Hanoi - wouldn't... More

My group of 5 found the Hanoi Rose after arriving in Hanoi during a blackout and late at night. The staff let us in and let us view the rooms first as we had already turned down another place. It was clean and cool (and had power!). We split between two rooms on the top floor and had no issues... More

It's a shame the owners post positive reviews about themselves instead of just cleaning up their hotel. You can tell because they are single 5 star reviews. Not much good to say about this hotel. Beds were decent and not hard as rocks, but not soft either. The worst part of this hotel was how dirty it was. The floors... More
