We arrived at 5pm and the room was not yet ready. Ken, the manager was polite and sat with us while we waited 25mins. The room was ok but very small and the shower was just impractical. It had no curtain and wasn't traditional and the bathroom ended up being covered in water. The reception staff kept out passports and... More

We managed to grab ourselves a bargain online here for just £28 a night. I say bargain because it waaaay extended our expectations. Lovely rooms, a great bar and breakfast and an awesome location. We also had a look at the Tirant and the Elite hotels which were billed by Lonely Planet as boutique and similar but they were nowhere... More

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice rooms, clean if not a little on the small side but good location

Great little hotel in a excellent location. Really close to some cool bars and restaurants (turn right, take first right, then left past the temple and then head down the road on the right with all the flags) and easy walk down to the lake. Hotel facilities were very good. Only slight downside was that there was only a shower... More

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights. Each room has different design, the rooms are clean and comfy. However, some of the rooms have a bathroom in the bedroom and it's a see-through shower stall. It would be romantic for young couples but not for old folks as the flooring is not fully covered and it can cause... More

I have been travelling through Vietnam for few weeks and can tell that some 5 star holets do not live up to the 5 star service, however this hotel is fantastic (I would definitely stay it is so worth those 3 stars and more). Hotel is small but cosi and has a nice feel. Breakfast is nice and has a... More

Great little hotel located in the Old Quarter - an oasis of calm when you walk through the doors away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Walking distance to Hoa Kiem Lake. Professional, very helpful and friendly staff :- currency exchange on a Saturday afternoon, restaurant recommendations (Pineapple and Little Hanoi (a second restaurant by the same name and... More

Other than the very central location and the very competitive price, we really appreciated how the peoples at the front desk were very helpful to give all king of information about the city. We bought a robe that needed some alterations but the shop did not delivered in time as promised. Unfortunately, we were not able to communicate with the... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It's biggest attraction is it's location in the middle of the Hanoi Old Quarter, which is the perfect place to stay if you are in Hanoi on vacation. The hotel itself has a very nice interior design with wooden floors in the rooms. Note that rooms are of variable size and some... More

Great location, walking distant to markets for shopping and other attractions! Clean rooms, although its very small and no proper tall shower heads (need to wash in a small bathtub using shower hose) but it's fairly reasonable for the price. Breakfast buffet is decent and room service is good value for money! We stayed from 10th-14th Dec 2011, it was... More
