Friendly, welcoming staff. Location & comfort pretty much perfect. Far enough from boozy backpackers to avoid tons of noise but a few minutes walk to the lake and the heart of this wonderful district.

We spent one night at the Royal Palace hotel in Hanoi. The location is alright- in the old quarter but a bit more of a walk to bars and restaurants than other places we have stayed. The staff were strange and awkward when we arrived, hovering around us for no apparent reason. They did provide us with a welcome lemonade... More

Very fine hotel. We arrived early, but that was no problem. They gave us tea and fruits while they cleaned a room. Within half an hour we could go to our room. It is a fine room for a family. Perfect a la card breakfast.

Had an excellent stay at the Royal Palace Hotel 2. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was spacious and clean, breakfast was great, and the hotel is centrally located. Coffee and tea is available all day, and I even received a gift of coffee when I left! I would definitely stay here again, as this hotel is great value... More

Very good location, rooms ok for the price. Breakfast more than enough! Staff is very friendly even if the commercial is sometimes a bit insistent. If you stay in Hanoi for one night or 2, it's perfect. Don't expect a 4* when you pay that money! Price/quality is excellent!

The hotel is near the nite market. They also offer free breakfast. They have very good staff, kind, helpful and friendly. They also offer tours with very affordabable prices. I will stay again in this hotel when i go back to Hanoi.

We arrived in vietnam after a long flight, our first stop was the royal palace hotel. Check in was quick and easy, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big, the bed was massive but a bit hard. There was complimentary water and friut, a mini bar (fair prices), a computer, tv and wifi. Overall a good room.... More

This hotel has everything required to make a traveller comfortable. Fantastic breakfast choice. Large well decked out rooms with modern features. Tour desk that offered a variety of tours with a discount if your staying at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Huy. Located in the old Town and very close to good cafés and shop. The hotel is clean with good a/c and Internet available I all rooms. The breakfast will keep you going throughout the day. The staff is very helpful without being pushy. I would recommend using their pick up service from the airport. I arrived late at night and... More
