I liked the pre-visit contact that we had with the hotel that helped with the hotel arranging an airport pick up for us and advising us on trips to Halong Bay etc. Found it really useful having a computer in the room with good internet access. The Hotel is very centrally located, from the hotel we walked to many places... More

This hotel offers a great location in the the old town. Rooms are very comfy with good facilities. We were on the second floor. My only complaint is it was a little noisy during the day, but the Hanoi is just that! The staff were great, really friendly and helpful to book tours and onward travel. Breakfast with a choice... I stayed at Hanoi Royal Palace hotel for 2 night. I came to this hotel in the morning (I came from Sapa by night train), and its only shortwalk from train station. The staff is very friendly, they offer me to stay in their friend hotel cause their check-in time is 12 noon and at that time (09.00 am) they... More

Staff are fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. Every aspect of my stay is wonderful. I've returned 3 times between trips to Sapa and Halong Bay. Mr Tong was very helpful. He organised transport and laundry for me. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again and again.

Located just off a busy street near two tourist-friendly restaurants, Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel provides a calm staging point from which a plan to attack the frenetic city of Hanoi can be made. Comfy beds, fast wifi, fashion TV, and quiet (until 6:30am on weekdays) rooms made for a great stay and introduction to the city. My only complaint is... More

The hotel is located in the old city, a walking distance from many attractions. Our room was modern, convinent, and clean. Special complements are due to the staff. They were very helpful with their recommendation. They organized our trips to Halong bay and Sapa, and even waited for us at the train station at 05:00 in the morning

The location is good and the staff friendly although somewhat invasive. The room is ok and big, but the decor is just awful. The good thing is that each room has a computer with internet access. Value for money!

We spent in this hotel the new year's eve and I found it very nice and pleasant. The price is a little bit higher than average but the staff was pernickety. Let's start from the position: it is perfect for tourists who want to visit the city walking foot because it's close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ho Chi... More

First, Hanoi is VERY noisy, its VERY busy, crossing the road is a nightmare, car/scooter horns are incessant!!!!! This is not the hotel' s fault. All city centre hotels will be the same. Go to Sofitel if you need quiet but pay 10 times the price. The hotel has around 20 rooms I guess. Its on a busy street not... More
