Me girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in August. The room was a reasonable size and comfortable. The real plus point was how welcoming, friendly and helpful all the staff were. Highly recommended for thos travelling on a budget.

This hotel is lovely, the staff are attentive and it is such a good hotel within a small budget. For example, we had our halong bay cruise cancelled due to weather, but we had already booked this hotel, so we needed it change it by a day or so. They were so accommodating, we needed to stay that night and... More

We booked one night in this hotel. Nothing to complain about concerning the friendliness of people there and the space of each room. Although we found a cockroach in our room as we checked in, but I guess this is common in Vietnam. The beds were also pretty hard and uncomfortable but that happens sometimes. The thing we did not... We stayed here for two nights during our visit in Hanoi. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are tidy. The staff is always friendly and absolutely not pushing you to tours (like often in Vietnam). We got room service every day and the breakfast was good. 4 instead of 5 points because our room was really small for... More

First place we stayed in Hanoi and can't complain. Room was clean, had everything in working order and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and the front desk helped us with booking buses, trains and planes for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was basic but all we really needed. Fantastic value for travellers.

Couldn't fault this place. Very clean double room with good shower and good breakfast in the morning. £7 for the double room for a night. Brilliant value. Only stayed one night, but left some medication in the room by mistake, and they kept until I could pick it up a couple of days later, then arranged a taxi to the... More

My partner and I booked this hotel for two nights and decided to book another night because the staff were so friendly and it was in an excellent location. The staff were incredibly helpful, in particular Ha who organised a one day tour to Halong Bay (would highly recommend it if limited in terms of time. It was excellent value... More

Stayed on this hotel for 4 days with wife and two kids. Nice local hotel, in the old city, able to walk with trolley to most of the places to see. Will stay there again. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Of three weeks of traveling all over Vietnam, with lovely service all along the way, Rising Dragon takes the cake. Service makes all the difference in a stay at a hotel or restaurant and they are a perfect example. Hoan went above and beyond (even after our stay) to make sure our time at the hotel, and in Vietnam, was... More

I was recommended this hotel by someone I met in Hoi An and booked directly with the hotel. Mr Son took great care of me from the moment I walked through the doors! They highly competent and very friendly staff gave me a map and pointed out some good sight seeing areas close by. They organised a tour to Halong... More
