This is an okay no frills hotel situated in the old quarter of Hanoi Steven the concierge was nice enough upon our entrance to the hotel but was very sales pitchy and we were tired and just wanted to chill in our room. The room we had was upgraded from a standard room to the family suite due a technical... More

Booked this hotel for the final nights of our holiday and based on the photographs and reviews we believed that the hotel would be beautiful. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Whilst the lobby looks lovely the rest of the hotel does not live up to this standard. We were told we got an 'upgrade', which to our surprise meant... More

A very good 3 star hotel, clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. The staff are excellent, very friendly and pleasant, in particular Steven who was always very helpful. Also excellent breakfasts.

Rising Dragon was our first stop into Vietnam. We received a warm welcome, plenty of information about Hanoi and the day trips available. Steven on the front desk could not do enough to help us during the entire time we were there, after going on the 2 day 1 night Halong Bay trip that the hotel had recommended they even... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one week. The staff, breakfast and rooms were great. We booked with hotel serenity 1 to begin with but were upgraded to hotel serenity 2 free of charge. Our room was a bit on the small side, however the bed was comfortable the shower hot and room was quiet. Thuyen (Steven) at the... More

This place is excellent. The value is great for the price. Very close to city center but perfectly secluded from the madness. We stayed on the second floor. Our room had no windows and it felt very misty but that was the entire Hanoi. We paid $15 for a standard room. The staff is incredible and although we arrived at... More

Hi, my first visit to Vietnam was a great experience thanks to the young man named Steven at this hotel. He provided me with good advise on how to get about the city, where to go, what to look for etc. he also arranged a sapa tour. In my conversations with him I gatherd that he has been with the... We were told we were in the deluxe room. Our bed was as hard as cement and the staff were playing hide and go seek until 3am which included running, giggling and slamming doors all night. Worst night sleep of my life. We only stayed one of our four nights we had booked. Would not recommend..

I had such a nice stay here at the beginning of my trip that I booked to stay again when I would be in the city a week later. No use in even looking for anything different, this is exactly what we wanted. All for a good price, we had a very clean, lovely room with everything we needed, plus... More
