our trip (8D7N) in Hanoi and northern areas especially Sapa were very nice, and we’d like to say again ‘THANK YOU’ for your good arrangements and helps throughout the trips. I’d like to say that after getting back this trip brought up lots of good memories to our family especially wonderful mountain views and very fresh air in Sapa (my... More

I moved here after staying one night in a party hostel... What a relief! Friendly service, well priced tours, a better crowd of people and surprisingly comfortable beds. Yes it's basic and small but I enjoyed it. I did end up having a cold shower on one occasion which I wasn't too happy about.

You get what you pay for here. The breakfast and 'happy hour' are a bit slow and it's not as clean as most other places we have stayed. But the location was good enough, the staff were a bit 50/50, depends whose working, the beds were surprisingly comfy for bunks as well

Stayed in Hang Vai hostel for 2 nights. All-in-that superb affordable price: the room was more than I or any fussy traveller could ever ask for. It was tidy and dust free, and the bed was just right. The hostel was even thoughtful to provide heater due to the cold weather. It was unexpectedly to get free breakfast with this... More

We stayed at the hang vai street hostel for 2 nights... We were given the top floor double room. It was visibly dirty throughout- the whole room was damp, covered in dust and black dirt, the window did not close. A heater was provided but we were still cold. The walls had wet patched where the rain was clearly coming... More

Four of us stayed in a family room with two sharing a double and two others on a bunk in the Hang Vai hostel. The room was average in size and the beds fine. Overall it could have been cleaner, the bathroom especially, but this is to be expected in Asia I guess. The free welcome drink promised upon arrival... More

All I can say about Hanoi Hostel 2 is that I will treasure every minute I spent there. The girls who work there are INCREDIBLY nice and I miss them already. The rooms are comfortable with lockable storage space for all your stuff under the bunks. I would definitely stay nowhere else but here when I'm back in Hanoi.

perfect hostel for you solo travels stopping in Hanoi. i found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and beds were sufficiently clean, and the "happy hour" lends itself to being a great place to meet other travelers. it's not a party hostel like i hear the Backpacker Hostels are, but on a friday night i found... Nice stay and location. I stayed in Hang Ma and the rooms were big and clean. The staff is really friendly. They had a helpful attitude when I had an accident and really worried about me. Lan Anh, the girl in the front desk, is one of the most helpful staff I've ever meet. They have the cheapest price in... More
